That Warlock one is atrocious.

You should first beeline Imp. Drain Soul and then switch over to demo for Imp. VW, then go back into Afflic until SM.

The reason for this is Imp. Drain Soul will keep your shards up and help you regain mana faster, meaning faster leveling.

By the time you get the Improved Voidwalker it'll be at a point where the VW is going to start to struggle to hold aggro. Having that talent (and being an orc, technically) will allow it to hold aggro much better.

Once you hit SM, keep going into demo and pick up Fel Intellect so your VW can maintain mana better. Anything else is really up to you, but Fel Concentration is going to do you better than Imp. CoA and Life Tap

Improved Drain Soul is worthless because you don't stack Spirit while leveling, which means the regeneration is minimal. Also, it has an even lower chance to proc in a group than just solo because Drain Soul has to be the tick that kills the mob to proc.

Improved Voidwalker is worthless because the Voidwalker begins to lose aggro once you start stacking Shadow gear, which generally doesn't happen until Shadoweave becomes available starting at level 37. By level 33, you have Fel Concentration maxxed so even if you do slip past the aggro range you won't get fucked up for it.

Fel Intellect has such a minor buff that it only adds one extra Torment, which is awful for the talent investment.

No. Even without spirit gear it's a noticeable increase. You get a mob to low, call back your VW and last hit it to proc it. It's easy as fuck and if you can't even micromanage your VW you need to play a different class.

Don't put every fucking DOT on every mob you fight, jackass. You should use Corruption and Siphon Life only, reapplying corruption as needed, meanwhile wanding the target. This means you will stay mana efficient the entire time and at minimal risk of your VW breaking aggro. If you spike a mob down of course it's going to attack you.

It's a PvP talent and amazingly helpful in most regards. Pre-60 when a warrior comes up to you and you have 5/5 Fel Concentration you can literally nullify most of his attacks. Mortal Strike doesn't effect life drain.

Its the single best combo for making gold early. Herbalism is good but only in the late game.

Go skinning/mining sell everything and then at 60 farm a bit more then you can decide if you want to pick up a crafting prof.

From about level 1 to 40 you dot up a mob, let void walker tank, and wand it

From then on, vw aggro is shit and you should start using siphon life+drain life when the mob breaks off from the void walker. This requires stacking shadow damage gear.


In wpvp you'll be decent with fear spam, but if you're alliance an undead rogue usually means you insta lose, if any rogue gets the jump on you, they'll stunlock you to death easily (unless you're an Orc and lucky)

Beast master hunters (aka every hunter from 1-59) will obliterate you, since you can't fear or terrorize the pet, and even non rare pets will solo you with ease

From 30-41 warriors will have their way with you since they can also break your fear and you don't have death coil

Also you can't 1v2 unless fighting brain deads or people with no cc counters

You'll be out dps'd by every single dps class(except humters) and warriors in raids, but you're still useful to bring because buffs and debuffs

Leveling a productive profession as you progress is the true experience, don't be fooled. You'll need engineering to deal with the fact that you don't have WotF.

A gnome warlock is not that bad at all. Escape artist and the extra int is definitely a difference. In fact, undead WotF and warlock pet damage is really all Horde has, in regards to warlocks.

They're bad bad in pre 60 pvp, but get much better in 60 pvp where you're using something other than void walker 24/7, where you get real gear, and better spec

And if you last until aq40 you'll be excellent in pve dps

I'd say one of a warlocks most annoying issues is that you're completely non battle ready for at least 30 seconds after rez, as you need to remake healthstones, demon armor up, resummon pet, and get hp/mp back to full

However, you have the second easiest leveling experience in the game, and can farm mobs and solo instances like mages and hunters can do

No, Ely is using its own shit core. The Nost core was discontinued after Viper & Fags sold their souls to Blizz and demanded that they stop (also stopping the character transfers just a few days after opening them).

If you want to see TBC or beyond, no. Elysium is partnered with Crestfall, who will be hosting a Progress Through Expansions (PTE) server, as well as a TBC server (Legacy Crusade).

However, Crestfall will be wiping the russians' asses and giving them their core. So if you want Vanilla forever, then yes, Elysium's the way to go. Elysium and Zeth'Kur are fresh servers, while Anathema and Darrowshire are the renamed Nostalrius servers. Ely is bigger, but older than Zeth.

PTE will kill Elysium, mark my words.

Rogue pick pocketing is ok. you CAN get daggers in some of the chests but its a bit of a chore to pick pocket unless you are sub spec or imp stealth talents because stealth is buggy as fuck on elysium and mobs see you way to easily. I pick pocketed just about every mob i could from 1-45 and only ever got 1 blue dagger, sometimes u get a grey from pick pocketing that is worth 45s and stacks 5 times thats good. The pick pocketing is OP at lower levels though because mobs have up to 1-2 silver in their pockets in the starter zone.

A LvL 60 rogue wielding his weapon with 300 in Weapon skill towards a Boss (LvL 63) will end up getting 40% of his white hits affected by Glancing Blow, reducing the damage with 30%. Effectively decreasing the damage of its white hits to 88% of the potential damage. These Glancing blows can't be prevented from occurring, but you can get rid of the damage reduction. Kronos ruined it for me with their leveling event.

I got 1 of each character i wanted to 60 when they did it and im not attached to any of those characters at all.
I cant bring myself to level a fresh character to 60 on elysium when i already have a 60 of that class on kronos.
also my neet time is running out. I only have a few more weeks so if i want to get to 60 soon to raidlog i need to do it fast. But then im finding it hard to focus on wow with all my free time because it feels like too much of a chore to rush through the game.
