Bots are so strong now. They take advantage of the environment, React to your feints, Combo you, counter guardbreak and adjust to your repeated actions. It's so good man.

No, it's not missing. It's being blocked.

Previously, having a light attack blocked meant that chain was interrupted. That's no longer the case. Now you can have two of your lights be blocked and the unblockable will still come out.

I swear on my life that I press X in time. Have they changed counter guard break since the beta? All of my friends say it is much harder to do it.

I still can counter guard break, but only when I completely anticipate it coming. If I have to rely on the icon alone, I may as well cut my own throat because the fight is over, immortal_phoenix1998 is going to do that peacekeeper kick me over the ledge.

Someone help me out with the Shugoki - he has a move where if you double tap A when out of combat (or X or whatever) he does a charge thats supposed to knock people over - but whenever I do it he seems to literally run through people.

As a heavy you can only predict it and dash sideways preemptively, but even then you can't punish the warden most ot the time, or even worse — he'll cancel it and catch your dash by guard breaking. Kensei can somewhat deal with it with his sidestep attack, but that's risky too.
Other than that you can only unlock and roll away. I haven't seen any heavy player, ingame or on streams, reliably punish shoulder bashes.

Are heavy class light attacks to slow to bring the warden out of the animation? Because you can always hit them with a light to stop their shoulder charge.

Obviously they can cancel and mix up, but this solves your problem of getting hit by the shoulder bash.

You just need a fast enough attack. Does your zone attack come out instantly or quick enough?

So with Valk, if you parry -> heavy -> Sheild bash -> grab -> charged headbutt
you will drain ALL of the enemies stamina AND get a knock down on them off of the headbutt too. It also looks like you can corner like them kinda like conq using your shield bash after using a heavy but you can cancel your heavy straight into a shield bash too for a nice mix up.

The game feels totally different when I plug my xbox controller over the mouse and keyboard.

Yeah, they're too slow. It works if you do it first, but not on reaction. I don't think you can react to it even with the fastest attacks of other characters, like warden's own zone attack and peacekeeper lights. Maybe orochi's top light works, but he's fast enough to dash anyway.

as a warden main who is having this discussion with you, this is wrong. warden top light comes out quick enough to stop the charge, as does orochi top/side lights, i think PK can do her stab attack for the range cancel.

No, you get hit out of it.
You can trade charges, but only if you have one and it's done at the same time, otherwise it gets stuffed. Sure, it might be possible to interrupt with some character's lights, but as a warden you can fish for parries by feinting the charge. Also the damage warden gets out of a successful charge is much higher than what others can get. Overall i think assassins have ways of dealing with it, but for a heavy it's way too tough.
