Even with Extraction, Pleiades, Suzaku and 25 Spirit I run out of Living Weapon and getting hit basically ends it right there

I have an entire set with each piece having 5% (or more) of unlimited jutsu with it almost on my gear including accessories on top of the iga set allowing you to restore a shit ton of your ninja tools per living weapon (and depending on your spirit you'll have it every few packs or so) giving you unlimited jutsu

So don't worry about stock, you'll have it. You just have to get end game, where gear building actually is a thing. Stick with it anon.

I keep seeing this get thrown around and I really can't wrap my head around it. Each level reminds me of a smaller version of Dark Souls 1's world, with how shortcuts work and how the levels loop in on themselves.

I think the complaint people are trying to make is that the levels all feel very bland and samey to look at. Areas are well designed but not memorable, with a few exceptions.

I've been using sloth to compensate my shit armor but armor down water talisman and kato summon talisman make short work out of most demons as it burns them to death and water amplifies it. Sometimes I go fire talisman.

But armor down + summon + burn is pretty dead really fast without sloth or living weapon. Divine shot seems like shit though. I'm not a fan of magic just being buffs and debuffs but it's working.

Nioh had showtime on a Sony panel, was on board their website, was front page of the store with their demos, and was included in the twitter feed. Just that it doesn't seem probable for it to be released in any timely fashion due to timed exclusivity. This games strategy guide hasn't launched yet, after all.

But for the life of me, I have a Legendary Strategist's Garb: Hakama equipped and it doesn't show up.

I actually did my original playthrough as an onmyo mage. I didn't use sloth because I thought it was shit Pumping 50 points sees the duration of that Talisman extended to the room but it's damage leaves a lot to be desired. And at 60 in magic the fireballs are still only good for applying "discord". In terms of raw damage output onmyo mage alone an offensive build does not make. But being able to apply a talisman that essentially doesn't run out and have the ability to fast swap them as needed to exploit weaknesses is pretty cool.

Or was cool. Now all I do is use a build that would make sense to nobody else but myself and 1 Kat forever. Pic related

It's pretty good for a few reasons.
Kick is amazing as is the followup. It's capability to stance change and keep up a solid offense is on par with 1 kat which is close but not above axe. It's equal if not better than the kusarigama when it comes to applying elemental debuffs (for the sake of exploiting discord) or status ailments for highly specialized poison paralysis build.

I've been using spear. Sloth is broken so I only use it against bullshit that's impossible for the build to survive but summon guardian talismans were the best with kato or paired raijin. Shots awful though they should nerf sloth and buff those. ailve been using spears and armor downs and armor downs have been beasting though. It practically doubles your output.

Stat would just be a quick postable run down of what each stat governs, along with any relevant details. Things like how quickly Body's HP growth falls off and such.

Weapon guide would more be about general playstyle and role of each type, with a couple notes on particularly useful/must have moves. Also an explanation of the apparently skipped over secondary scaling stats weapons have. Maybe include shit like what Parry and Break are, and/or the difference between Close Range Combat and Long Ranged Combat that I've seen people ask about (despite the obvious answer).

Actually, I havent seen people mention this but the skill that lets you move behind the opponent to smack them if they block does Ki damage on par with kick AND their square parry is the only thing that can parry Yokais and normally unparryable bosses. 2kats will probably be quite cancerous in PvP if people realise it breaks so many rules compared to other weapons

depends on your capacity for learning and ability to adapt, if you try to do the same thing every time you die then chances are you'll get the same result. Some bosses will seem completely fucking crazy until you learn what they're doing because everything in this game is so much faster and smoother than a souls game

I've personally never had an issue with a Souls game, the only boss I've died more than 5 times on in a first playthrough is Orphan of Kos which took a good 15 goes or so. To me the difficulty in souls games came more from the levels than the bosses, though these sorts of things are entirely subjective and vary person to person. and your primary reason for playing shouldn't be difficulty so you can wave you e-dick around, your primary concern should be FUN and this game has a lot of it
