Believe it or not you can continue to learn skills outside of school, look at literally all of the most successful people in the world. They didn't get degrees in CEOnomics and Directology. They worked their way up their fields internally by continually improving themselves in the field.

im playing on my friends computer/144hz 2k monitor and its fucking ridiculous how much better the game plays coming from 60hz
he gets way more fps than me too with his 970 vs my 480, though he had to rebuild the rest of his rig a while ago.
for comparison
him: 4770k,970, 16gigs ddr4,
me: 3770k, 480 8gig, 8 gigs of ddr3
his monitor cost him like a grand a year ago too

Ana's 50% ult damage resistance + the new 35% passive bastion gets which meant he turned into an immortal god when he got ulted with something like 3000 effective health cause he got 85% damage resist (Cause of course the idiots made it additive)

So they gave a 70% damage resistance cap to all heroes. Despite the fact that no other hero comes close to getting to 70% damage resistance. They are ignoring the obvious class balance issues of Ana and Bastion's new 35% damage resistance and instead are doing this global cap.

This somehow made it so that Ana's grenade unintentionally blocked only 70% healing instead of 100%.

So SOMEHOW capping the DAMAGE RESISTANCE reduced how much HEALING BLOCK her grenade had.

It is only a 1v6 fight when your stupid ass decides to stand idle. I'm a solid Reinhardt, I never get complaints even in comp where everyone pitches a fit the second a game turns sour. I'm just telling you the main issue I have and the main reason I see us lose is because people don't understand what a Reinhardt charge entails and what their job needs to be when they see one happen.

Quick example: The counter charge. Any Reinhardt knows if he sees the enemy Rein charge, he should instantly charge back. The result will be both Reins getting knocked down, except the enemy Rein will be on the ground closer to your team so they will likely die and you'll live. But, that is assuming your team understand to focus on the Rein. Half the fucking time they don't.

They're adding it due to people wanting it, that's a good thing. I didn't personally miss it, I can see why it wasn't an urgent requirement for them at launch.

I like those modes. Lots of FPS use tried and true modes. Payload works well for class shooters.

Sounds like they identified a problem and applied a solution. The gameplay feels very good with 6.

They're constantly adjusting heroes based on meta data and feedback volume. If you can point to a game that features multiple characters with a variety of abilities and numerical values on those abilities in a team based game that has perfect balance amongst all tiers of play (Roadhog isn't an issue in mine), then I'll eat my shoe.

What's really funny is that for the longest time, WoW's quest system would literally only trigger if something died. That was fine for stuff like "Kill X or kill this Dungeon/Raid Boss", but for everything else (collect 10 bear asses or whatever), they came up with a solution to have invisible, immune bunnies that died once you collected the thing.

This ended up being a problem for the Cata pre-patch event, because during that sometimes Deathwing would swoop in and kill everything in the zone, including all NPCs/monsters and those invisible bunnies. This meant any quests in that zone were broken for a good 5-10 minutes because the bunnies wouldn't respawn right.

I do play Rein, and know exactly how important he is. I also love playing alongside a good Rein, who plays to his role, and despair being next to a suicide Rein.
If you want people to group up with you you have to have their trust, period, and if you aren't playing with a stack of people you know, the only way to keep that trust is to NOT charge the fuck in. Nobody can keep up with you and you are abandoning your team. You push in with the barrier, and when it breaks or when things get too mixed up for you to really guard a direction, THEN you fight and look for charge opportunities, because you can actually get away with them instead of just getting focused down.

No need to, I haul may ass out of silver to mid plat in solo queue and even in here you can see the difference between ranks. Aiming is not the same, positioning is not the same, hero picks and team comps are not the same, most of the time there is some sort of communication and strategy attempts.

I'm sorry but if you really want to climb you need to polish your abilities and focus more on what are you doing and the impact you cause on the match, instead of wanting "good" teammates.

Also learn useful heroes like 76 or Pharah for dps, Rein and Hog for tanks, Zen and Ana for heals and Mei and Symm for defense. Drop that fucking Junkrat and Hanzo, you are not a special snowflake that is going to reach GM by just playing with shit characters.

not really, my soldier has a bit lower sensitivity than others but i feel like if i lower that anything more i won't be able to turn around in less than half a second.

Zenyatta has no spread
Soldier's spread increases as he shoots.
He was saying that it wasn't impressive that Zenyatta killed Soldier because Zenyatta doesn't have any spread.

Still, a pretty pathetic comment given that Zenyatta's attacks are projectiles while soldier's are hit scans.
