Be honest, what did you guys think of the open beta? I thought it was pretty shit. I ended up uninstalling it two days ago after getting rep 1. I think the game is fine at its core, but there was to much other stupid shit that made it not fun after a while.

The netcode is fucking trash. i bumped into someone from the same state as me and there were still latency issues. Matchmaking not being region locked is dumb. War of the Factions is terribly executed, and the community is shit.

If you parry a nobushi, don't go for a GB as it won't reach her.

If you parry a light, go straight for a heavy on the same side because light parries make the enemy stumble longer than a heavy parry.

If you parry a heavy, either zone or side lights into shoulder bash mixup. Remember to cancel the shoulder bash into a GB if they try side dashing. If she uses side dash attack, cancel the shoulder bash into a parry.

Keep up pressure and poke with top lights or zones.

If she manages to hit you, start side dashing immediately. If she tries to combo a kick, she will miss and you get a free attack/GB on her. I think she can combo her kick from a block heavy as well so watch out if you block a heavy.

If she GBs you, she will 100% of the time try to reset with her kick. Once you start dodging this, she will side heavy. This is a chance for you to parry and GB her since she's right up to your face.

If you manage to get an opening with one of the methods above, just use your mixup and mindgame her to death.

I had literally no wins against Nobushis until I realised I can just side dash her kick. I lost literally no games against her on the last day when I had her figured out though. Remember to keep an eye for attacks while you dash though, so you block anything that comes your way if she decides not to kick.

I picked samurai and I already knew this would happen when I saw how poorly they were doing in marketing their game. Open beta participants were only 3 million, which is extremely low for a AAA title. For comparison, Battlefield 1 had almost 13 million players during the beta.

They arbitrarily gave it over to the knights after seeing how many people were spamming the shit out of it on reddit. Mathematically, knights lost, but they won in the end because they're the most dedicated fanbase the game has right now.

I love Lawbringer but I hate that he's like Orochi and Kensei in that, you can't tell if he's on blue or orange team unless you're right next to him or see his name+health. Not something I won't mind using patterns for, but I really hate when there's two peace keepers fighting each other and I don't know who to flame tackle. Almost ALMOST makes me wish for hard outlines as an option.

Nobushi main here, I don't really have any problems with warden but the really annoying ones have good base blockign and parry mechanicss and immediately get in my face. Try to use ur charge to gapclose too but don't be obvious about it. If you corner them you're good to go. Just make sure to dodge the kick. They get their kick after using a poisoned light attack or 2 basic lights. Sidestepping doesn't really work because you are still at range. Gapclosing is key.

This guy has some good points. Like he said, don't try to grab a nobushi if ur at range and parry her because you wont reach. If you parry her, use that opportunity to charge and set up a cc chain.
Don't dash immediately though. She needs to land a second light or a poisoned light to use her kick. It has a decent windup so you can usually sidestep the kick pretty easy, and if you do you're golden for a quick overhead.

Pressure is key, Nobushi hate people getting in their face and keeping up pressure. The worst place you can be is at their poke range.
Also, about the side heavy, it will always come out the opposide direction she moves.

And really importantly, ALWAYS keep your default stance to top. all of her gapcloser and retreat attacks attack the top, they also hit really hard and apply poison. It makes her think twice about going for easy zones with viper's retreat because you can parry her if she tries to backdrop.
