All of the maps play against her role as a sniper, and she's only good when she spams her mines.
Most Kinessa players can barely aim, they do shit damage, have only a few lucky kills, and are flanker food most of the time.

Kinda disappointed that Paladins was completely revamped to imitate Overwatch.

Paladins came out first and had some unique gameplay mechanics.

But now, it seems like the devs don't care anymore and just decided to copy all the popular aspects of Overwatch.

To be fair, Wrecker is the no-brainer method of dealing with him. He's got more shielding than Barik, and you can't just easily bypass it. The only thing you can really do, if no one takes wrecker, is focus fire on him from out of his range. Or from swarming him, since he can't hit all of you. The problem is that it's seldom 1v5 unless you're playing him yourself.

Not inherent to the character but to the skill of both sides in the fray, especially flankers such as Androxus, Evie, Maeve and Buck, hell, even Skye in her terrible state as she is at the moment!

Not a problem nor innate to the characters themselves but; again, to the skill of both sides. if you've played this game for long enough you probably came to notice that flankers are simply damage dealing champions with more of a focus on mobility, whilst most DD'ing champions focus on helping the tanks and cleaning the objective. Once you have all of the explicit knowledge burned into your brain, once you know what every champ does, how they'll probably play, maps, and so on, that's great, but there isn't much beyond that. Games mostly play the same and everything starts being predictable. You know that the tank HAS to go on the point soon, you know exactly what that Ying plans on doing, and it all comes down to execution. There's only a limited number of options each character has in every situation.

The difference between a "seemingly" deep game (like, for example, a moba that has hundreds of characters and dozens of items) and an "actually" deep game, is that once you have all of the declarative knowledge down, you can synthesize it in new ways. There's a significant difference in a game where you only have two decisions to make at a time (and you know your opponent only has two decisions to make as well), vs a game where you have five options and your opponent has just as many.

Not that there needs to be a lot, as there's a lot of good games that rely more on execution than strategic depth.

The one thing that kind of makes up for it is his vine to latch quickly to tanks (or anyone really) in trouble, but the axe range thing pretty much goes to shit unless you have good control and can keep enemies under fire from far away while already on point.

Supports shouldn't be dedicated healers. Hi-rez is right in saying that. It's what gets you fucking useless wastes of a character slot like Mercy in Overwatch.

A Pip built around his slow is aggravating as all fuck. And even if he builds into healing potion cooldown he has a 1200 hp health bomb every 3 fucking seconds for his entire team to enjoy if they are grouped up for its aoe. Not to mention having the damage to contest any flanker coming for his backline.
