If you want to port a PC game, you need to strip out anything related to running in an environment, and replace them with running as a library essentially. OK, I've heard some horror story's, but what's the best way to go about updating Luna, and what not so I can push these 3DS's to 11.3?
Is the Luna Updater fine? or is that causing half of the issues I've heard about? ( Black screen on boot, system hangs, ect ect. )

Android is great I have rooted firetvs on each of my television.

I use a dedicated pfsense box as a router and ddwrt accesspoints which each have 3tb usb storage shared as smb. I also have a few monitors with rpi3s just velcroed to back of them and 8BitDo Bluetooth controllers.

All my boxes pull ROMs from the access points that are in a WDS mesh. I use retroarch so savegames can be played back from any tv. I need no computers on and have every system available to every tv and even wireless to monitors.

You have the games titleid therefore you have the updates id, put it into any decent nus client on your pc and it will build a .cia of it.
The key should be provided since its just an update.

I installed some cias to my ds. Then i did a system transfer after, expecting the games to either remain or be deleted.
They're gone, but seem to still be taking up memory? My sd card seems way more full than it should be. I installed two games then it gave a storage error on kid icarus. I have 32gb.

Guys I need help, I have an O3DS with arm9loader + luma3ds, I updated to 11.3 and the 3ds doesn't boot anymore. I was using the stable version of luma when I updated. I tried booting with both stable and nightly but I can only access the main menu of luma before getting a black screen. I have a 11.2 backup but I heard that the 11.3 update wouldn't let me boot an older version anyway, shoul I try to restore my old backup with decrypt9?

How can I extract save files from GBA VC titles? When I try to open up FireRed in JKSM, I get "Error opening save archive!" Was it just a bad .cia I downloaded?

Right, so. I'm having problems right off the bat with the SD card.

The thing is, the guide tells you to verify your SD card to check for possible corruption. But I cannot even get to verify it. Everytime something is copied to the SD, for some reason it unmounts itself (or so I believe, h2wtest says I have a code 2 "cannot find the file selected"). And, I haven't checked with all the files, but with some I can't even copy them out of the SD to the PC.

The card is almost new, it's an ADATA of 32gbs, with 19gbs already used, and 10gbs empty, class 10. Had to buy it because the previous one was corrupted, and copied/pasted everything onto this new one.

My laptop is also new, so I don't believe it's a problem with the reader, though the adapter is kinda shady.

Any suggestions? Is my SD card fucked? Is it my pc? or is it the shady reader? I'm kinda afraid of experimenting much because I don't want to lose all my saves and shit.

I have no idea if I have alh9 or not but I know i had previously used rxtools and menuhax iirc before shifting over to luma3ds. So I did a system transfer from one 3DS to another
It went perfectly fine just like everyone said it would be.

Then I went and restored a NAND backup so I didnt have to go back through and reinstall all my games or reinject FBI.

Well, now my NNID is back on the old 3DS and no longer on the new one I just transferred to because of the nand restores.

Now what?
I guessing if I turn the internet on ill get banned by nintendo for having the NNID on the wrong console?
What should I be doing to fix this?

I am using arm9loader and luma3DS, followed the guide completely and everything has been working fine until this latest patch. I know you can update and I did it successfully up to 11.2, but I just updated to 11.3 to get rid of the messages bothering me and now my 3ds only shows a black screen and (I assume) locks so I have to hold the power button to turn it off again.

I've tried booting without a SD card inserted and the power LED briefly lights up then turns off again. I've tried backing up then deleting my Nintendo 3ds folder on the SD and that didn't do anything. I have been googling for a solution but I can't find any help.

Okay so I'm fucking stupid and found out my luma3ds is on v5.5.

But after you do a system transfer it formats the first 3DS and you lose your homebrew and installed unlicensed CIAs on the second one.

You have to go back through and reinject FBI and install all your shit for both consoles after the transfer.

I just finished copying over all the luma6.6 files(luma.3ds,3ds folder,boot.3dsx, a9lh.bin) that I thought i should and it works fine now so it fixed the black screen and am functioning on emunand 11.3 fine as far as im aware.

While I'm at it though I figured I should clean up my card a bit is there anything there that doesn't need to be/can be deleted.Also I'm not exactly sure what a9lh is or what it does, should I be using it instead of my current setup? From what I understand it eliminates the need for emu/sysNAND split but thats all I get (im kinda dumb apologies). If I was to install it would I just use the guide on "Updating A9LH" on 3ds.guide?

In order to make it work:
I restored a 11.2 backup;
updaded luma to a nightly build;
updated a9lh and copied luma on CTRnand;
updated to 11.3 to realize that it wasn't working with the sd card inserted but only without it;
restored 11.2 again;
deleted custom themes because in the past menuhax wasn't compatible with custom themes and maybe it could be the reason;
updated to 11.3 to realize AGAIN that it wasn't working with the sd cart inserted;
deleted some random files on the SD card that I kept from the >cakes times
and then it worked, don't ask me why.

That fixed it. Somebody earlier said that the problem may come from not having an up to date Luma3ds before updating. I think a good tip for people to follow is "Update Luma3ds files before updating system."

Steps I took to fix it are as follows:

Just SysNAND then. EmuNAND is what it sounds like an 'Emulation' of the NAND being ran over the SysNAND. It's not 'real' as you're spoofing it, but it means the SysNAND can do things like stay on 9.2 and what not so JUST IN CASE the EmuNAND is fucked up, you can boot back into SysNAND and go from there. I made a theme with Usagi and I notice it seems the top image isn't wide enough. My knowledge and Google both agree that the top screen resolution is 400x240 but obviously this isn't the case, and Usagi seems to suggest it should be 412x240.
