After you get used to it, is is simply not fast enough to be a real threat because of its sup-bar range.

It is however not punishable on block afaik like the wardens superior version of the same attack, and is def not useless.

Orochi wont top attack a good warden anyway unless its a rare mixup, and other classes will most likely dodge/backstep attack you, similarly to that orochi does to them.

But orochis speed is def not something to be taken lightly when talking feints, and we have yet to see if a truly good orochi can take it home.

People are so focused on Warden and Orochi Zone attack that they forget about the Warlords.

It's probably his fastest and longest reaching attack. People don't expect it, and I catch really good players with it all the time.

It's also fast enough to be a decent answer to guard breaks. If you see a guard break you can on reaction do a zone attack to beat it and take a chunk of their HP.

Obviously it costs a shit ton of stamina, but it's great.

Was playing elimination with two of my friends, one playing Raider, the other Kensei while I played Warden and we had a rando Peacecute on our team who was absolutely godlike. May have legitimately feel in love with her after she hard carried us 3 because I kept getting nervous and choking my parries and my friends kept getting dunked on.

This webm clearly sums up why I think the warlord is a cheap piece of shit. There's no defending him being able to throw someone over 10 fucking feet away just for getting in one guard break. It's beyond fucking ridiculous and people use this as a crutch, staying near ledges for cheap fucking kills that no other hero can throw to.

And there's no risk to them. If the Warden was able to counter that and to a guard break of his own, he wouldn't have been able to toss you off. You can safely abuse a character with broken throws with no one being able to throw you off from that distance.

I played both Nobushi and Conqueror and Nobushi massively outshines even Conqueror at wrecking people near walls because she does a lot more damage with her heavies than even Conq and even if your opponent manages to escape to the point where you cannot kick him into a wall again for another heavy you can still follow up with the guaranteed bleed light.

Warlord damage is super low with his wall infinite and Warden is much more easily dodged.

Kensei merely gets a free helmsplitter, which does nice damage, but is a once and done combo with no follow ups.

When dueling a peaceshitter just now, I was using orochi. She grabbed me and proceeded to stab me three times, but there was one time she did this that I blocked all three stabs, and another time where I blocked two of the three.

It's just a guessing game. Either you know he'll commit to shoulder bash and you dodge left or right, or you guess that he'll go to GB and you hit him with an attack or tech the break.

Just standing there doesn't work, because the shoulder bash can only be beaten by dodging, and you have to dodge it early. If you try to dodge it too late it tracks you.

I agree, but feinting a naked heavy doesn't really do anything beyond mid-tier players. Feinting is best used in the middle of combos and when you go for a parry but the opponent feints his attack so you have to feint yours or get parried.

The all-guard comes in handy in that second case, doesn't do shit for him for that first case.

Zone attack is light+heavy attack. All characters have one and they are quite different. The Warden's is really, really fast but does little damage and has high stamina cost. Very, very good poke and finisher.

Guardbreak into heavy means he gets a free heavy attack on guard-break, left or right heavy after you GB as Warden will always hit. Not every character can do that, warden and warlord are the only two I know for sure.

As a Warlord, always be on the look out for walls.

If you can shield charge someone into a wall after GB, do it. Not only does it guarantee a top heavy (which is more damage) but it stuns the enemy and reduces their stamina, and puts you in position to continue aggression.

The armor on his heavies isn't even a big deal, because high level For Honor is 100% trying to get parries or guard breaks.

If your opponent is a retard, you'll beat them by just parrying them and throwing them off of a cliff, not worrying about trying to armor through moves.

Armor is best when it's used for extreme mix ups: Like if your opponent feints, you can also feint, but then immediately do another heavy to try and catch them if they go for a parry or to interrupt your move.

Aside from that it's not all that useful. It's a positive to have, but it's just minor.
