Got any suggestions/tips? I have been testing this for a while, though match up against Zoodiac is problematic if I don't go first and set up the board.

Trump Witch is there because it's seearcheable by Pendulum Dante. In a first turn I can bring Odd-Eyes to the field, this means I can activate her to fusion Vortex Dragon.

Dag Daggerman is a card I got on sneak and didn't expect to use, but it can recover Skullcrobat Joker from the grave after it's sent there by Rafflesia detaching.

Number 80 fucks up graveyards, Odd-Eyes Rebellion is food for Vortex via Odd-Eyes fusion or, when summoned by Absolute, can destroy the scales unlike Raging. Odd-Eyes Raging, on the other hand, got a better effect when legit summoned and I find myself being able to do so in some occasions, though most of the times he is summoned either when I already don't have Rebellion in the extra anymore or when I have no scales left, a rare occasion that makes him take precedence in being summoned over Rebellion. Of course, those xyz pendulums would only be summoned if Vortex isn't already out or wouldn't take care of the job.

I still wonder what I can do to fare the current meta. Most of my problems are against Zoodiac, however, I know Invoked will arrive soon and may screw me over.

I don't know much bout POEM, so take everything I say with a gran of salt.

First, consistency. Odd-eyes search is slow and Abductor search doesn't seem realistic with your spell ratio. You can only search using Abductor on turn 1 if you also open Terra or Summoner's Art. I reckon there's less than 20% chance for that to happen.
Then, power. The best I can see you're doing is either Vortex+Raff or Vortex+Clearwing, and both are terribly weak with how many card you're wasting to summon them.
I can see that you're trying to summon Vortex consistently, but let's just say that even if you managed to summon Vortex, if you don't have other "strong" monster with it, or you don't have any card left to recover next turn, you're guaranteed to lose.

As for how to improve it.
I don't know.
I kinda doesn't like all those one-off when you can't search them consistently.
Dag is useless on top of being situational.
Xiangke is situational as fuck, and Oaf doesn't have anything good to fetch.
Dag is a weak play on top of situational as fuck.
Put either Treacherous or Floodgate so Raff have other option.
Maybe put Pendulum Rising and Donkey and other PP to search Sorcerer.

Or you can just wait.
Neo-magician is coming on top of other goodstuff support.

Focus on an archetype. Cards that share a name tend to help each other.

Keep it close to 40. Rarely you will find someoen using deck destruction and rarely a game will reach the point you deck out. The less cards you have, the higher the chance you draw the ones you need.

You have too many situational traps. A trap is a slow card, it has to have a lot of significance for it to be worth waiting one turn. Mirror Force has a great effect, but decks nowadays don't care if their monsters get destroyed or can destroy the set Mirror Force before attacking.

Your fusions are situational as well. Good fusions must either be vague or have powerful effects to compensate the pain to summon it.

Nowadays there exists Synchro and Xyz cards. The Dark Magician archetype had xyz they use. Those are black cards without level.

Finally, I recommend you try building a newer deck, one to teach you how to play nowadays. Game evolved a lot. Odd-Eyes Magician is a deck that uses all summonings, it may help teach you how to play

Just the opposite. Having most of the engine being rare means that only those who order online and/or can drop massive amount of cash on singles/boosters stand any chance.
