The tutorial videos for Orochi, and the movelist, say that you can do the deflect heavy attack and then cancel it to do the light attack or something else like a guardbreak, but no where does it explain how to do this cancel. How do you do it?

There are certain instances where guardbreaks become untechable, but that is independent of character used.

If you GB a dash it's untechable. Not to be mistaken for when someone does a dash attack, those cannot be guardbroken.
If you GB during the startups of heavies and other GBs it's untechable.
If you GB recoveries, such as warden's zone attack recovery when blocked, it's untechable
If you GB a parried foe it's untechable

For Lawbringer we don't know too much since he's been rebalanced for release, but my impression is he'll have really good parry punishes, and probably good range like Nobushi

There's only one change I want to see in this game, and that's assassin characters trip/stumble if they dodge in any direction with no stamina. With other characters it's not a big deal, but a PK/Orochi should not be able to over-extend in my face, fail horribly, and then be able to safely back away.

Feel a little tired of it after a few games. It was fun as hell to watch in the closed beta, but playing it feels sluggish and a little too random. Maybe that's the connection, maybe that'll improve down the line but it's left a bad taste already.

On top of that everything is locked behind some kind of paywall or unlock, which seems to be directly inspired by R6 Seige. something which isn't fun and only a cheap mechanic to try and keep people playing. I felt like this game was going to have strong enough gameplay to stay away from all that bullshit. You know, stand on it's merits.

I hope they can honestly take some of the player feedback and change things for the better over the next few months. Glad I played the beta.

How do you beat conqueror that just waits for you to attack so they can block and follow with a light/grab/bash? I just couldn't get a hit in, if I feinted he would go all guard and he was always ready to counter guard break. He was also spinning his stick around while charging the flail and when the hit came out the indication for the attack came from two directions? I was playing as warden and just couldn't do a thing to him.
