You can't buy them directly.

As you find kodama in a region you'll passively get more elixirs. It starts at 3 and every few kodama is +1 more everytime you pray at a shrine.

You can obviously find them from drops (and a kodama blessing makes them drop more often).

Also you can donate items to a shrine for a chance to get free items, mostly elixirs. I got about 60 spare just from donating all my white trash items to the shrine after every level.

well crafting is apart of the game, so yah. Your build could also be shit too though. I was at similar point, where in some sub missions some enemies took long to kill.

Easiest thing I found was killing higher level (10+ lvls higher) revenents with 2kats to hopefully drop a better one, if didn't drop, haikiri and summon again, rinse n repeat.

I just want the armor and weapon plans of those fucking fags from sekigahara and there are no missions where I can just farm the shit out of those two. Fucking team ninja I don't want to go through entire levels just to fight them again.

the Kusari's ball throw does absolutely shit for damage

the throw on heavy stance has a massive wind up and if blocked the enemy will smash you, i wouldn't even use that attack on Kusari outside of to finish something off.

High stance quick attacks lock you into long animations that make it difficult to dodge.

It's a good weapon but it's not 'op as shit', 1kat and axe can destroy ki bars faster than kusari and 2kat and keep the pressure on much easier.

Its scaling stat its linked to is the worst, its range is middling, its dps is middling, its ki management is middling, its endgame damage is lower-tier, its a skill point dump, and its ability to stack elementals is middling.
Other weapons get better scale rolled rolls too like Scale with Spirit A on 2kats or Scale with Strength A on axe instead of Scale with Spirit C.
Compared to the top 3 it might as well be dead.

No they actually buffed it to cheese level for final release. Initial ninjustu tree just meant you had either all the items you needed or you didn't run through them but were weaker. Hell they did the same to onmyo.
