What if head borers could only synthesize chemicals beyond basic tricordrazine after tasting them in the host's blood, to learn them?

7. Graytide hacked open doors and broke open windoors.
8. Someone before I arrived dragged a gibber in and gibbed the corpses despite there being a beaker of clonex next to the cloner.
9. Those corpses weren't used for the cloner.
10. Xenomorphs
11. Surgical tools stolen repeatedly.
12. I got honey from the botanists and a paramedic broke into chemistry, dumped the beaker, and made Dex+ (which was already in the fridge) so he could go space walking without a suit

The bunker is for raids. The server doesn't belong to me or you. We're not choking ourselves to zero pop because Anonymous in the thread says to.

If admins are overwhelmed or the server pop is 80+ on regular days I'm right there with you. But admins aren't. Playercount isn't that high, and only gets in the 60-70 range during the brief double prime time window when Euro and American primetimes converge. And even that is spotty and any given night is just as likely to have 40 players or 70 depending on what people feel like.

But you know what I really think?

I think I've been here for three goddamn years and every Christmas break the same thing happens. Everyone that plays regularly over the course of the year comes back at once thanks to holidays then slowly trickles down as classes/work/whatever becomes more important until Summer and we repeat. And every time since 2015 someone has blamed new players for it instead of the 50-60 old faces.

Remember when we turned on the bunker in December? I do. Population didn't change. Even though we tuned the bunker to block everyone who had joined from the day of the Youtube video to current. There was no change in playercount. What does that tell you about why I don't take Anonymous seriously when they say turn on the bunker?

The only time I notice new players playing habits is when they mention them or when they get in trouble on their first day and I log onto TGs admin panel and see if they were recently banned there. And (they almost never are) they're promptly encouraged to re-read our rules or fuck off.

It's easy to say it's the boogeyman servers fault. It's harder to accept that most people I ban have been here for 6+ months or even years. I just said no to an admin app from a player whos been here since May, 2013 because they behave pretty poorly in game and love attention outside it.

That is why you find my attitude so confounding. Because most of my administrative work is generated not by new players, but by players that have been here a while.

In one of the old threads I mentioned I upgraded the Exosuit Fabricator and the cost went up, not down. Someone said this is because they have better upgrades than we can make by default but I can bypass it with the RPED so I tried this and the cost still went up.
Is it just impossible to make the robotics lab fabricators cost less? Are any other machines like this? Just trying to do my job right as scientist and don't want to accidentally make other machines cost more

I casually check TGs banpage now and then when banning someone that doesn't have extensive notes/history here but it's almost never productive. I don't know who or when people are banned on Hippie. Since Hippie just collapsed because of how bad their admins were in general I'm not sure I would even want to base administrative action here on what they did there when what they're doing there is apparently bad enough that even Hippie can't tolerate it and he quit.

Here's what matters. dawhatthefox was shitty here. They were banned and went to Hippie where Hippie made a fucking body pillow of his static waifu and we all mocked them relentlessly over it. We decided to give dawhatthefox another chance after they appealed because it was slow and we weren't overtaxed and could handle keeping an eye on them. So here's what happened to plastic bags: Before messenger bags job code had loose ends and some jobs were missing bag type setup. Our code have a check to see if you have no bag when you're supposed to have one then it gives you a plastic bag, inserts what was supposed to go in your missing bag inside it and finally gives you a real bag that ding doing, have it's own supplies. Now that bag prefs got fixed no one spawns with missing bags and of course, no plastic bags too. That's why greyshits and some civilian jobs started with TWO survival gear box.
