Sometimes two of these characters would actually work well together, or have a conversation that doesn't rely on their gimmick, but they had to bloat the support list due to the marriage mechanic.

When the target's HP is above 50%, Rehabilitate heals a flat 7 HP.

When the target's HP is below 50% but above 25%, Rehabilitate heals 7 HP + (50% of Target maximum HP - Target current HP)

Alright, I see what you're saying, and I agree. I shouldn't have lead my examples with those ones, but they're just the ones I remember most clearly because they were so important to the story outside of the supports themselves.

That said, you can't discount a support just because of an infodump, otherwise any conversation where a character talks about their past would be considered a device instead of a conversation. Context is key, and I think that's the thing that SS did really well. Whenever a character would launch into an infodump, it would feel natural and congruent with the characters getting closer, not just because one character asked or some contrived situations forced them to explain something.
