You can dodge almost everything. Get under 30% and keep at it. The hardest move is the big spin because you're liable to dodge backwards right in to one of his balls. You can get him caught in a chain of throwing them at you and occasionally ground pounding after you get through his spin to win phase which is incredibly easy.

Fuse-ushi is the only guardian spirit worth a damn for their Onmyo talisman summon attack so far that i've experienced.

The mouse spirit drops firecrackers around you which explode for fire damage which is pretty cool tho

No way to create divine items, you need to grind bosses and missions. The fragments you get by disassembling divine items are only for divine reforging (higher chance of blue/yellow effects).

All her melee combos are 2 or 3 hit and leave a big enough window for at least one hit. Stay close and she'll mostly stick to them with the occasional paralysis dart which won't paralyse if you wear paralysis resist gear (archer gear found in the level).

Most people who complain I found are trying to play it like souls and just hang back and poke like faggots. That gets you killed in this game because while you're hanging back the boss is regenerating stamina so you never get any good opportunities to deal lots of damage and get worn down since the boss has 10x your HP and damage

In phase 1, bait out his attacks, hes always open after two attacks, so just take it slowly.

For phase 2, if nothing else, wait for him to do that 3 hit combo that ends with him on his back, you can get in a full combo there.

When he starts throwing balls, don't try to dodge, just start sprinting to the side, you will always avoid the balls that way.

Its not the fastest way to beat him, but its safe

So like it seems they made the game intentionally based around speed like a ninja so high stance and slow weapons seems pointless.

going through the game right now with mixed stuff trying everything that i want but is it actually possible to main ninjutsu/omnyo when you put stats only in it?

just tried the bullet spells and its like ~120 damage with 13 points into it while my katana hits for almost 400 in midstance with quick attacks and 21 points invested
i wanna doubt it does as much even if i pump it up more? do you just have to get every skill and pray that unlimited X refunds your shit to actually do it?

Magic and ninjutsu are support abilities. Theres very few instances of direct magic attacks. Mostly you'll be buffing/debuffing and applying shit your weapons.

Any sort of ninjutsu or mage build needs at least one weapon focus to be reliable. Chains are good.

every time i pick option 4 it gets replaced by one of the 8 stats that isn't already on the list. The remaining 5 are all better than options 1-3 so i just pick option 4 every time.

Say you have 4 stats to choose from.
Say one is "Bonus Damage to Oni"
You select it and get a permanent .5% bonus damage against oni.

Then that stat is replaced by something else, say bonus health. If you select it, you get a permanent health bonus and its replaced by something else.

So on and so forth til you come back around to damage against oni. And it looks like you cant have multiples of the same stat, so eventually the first one will come back around.

Some of them like equipment drop rates, vs. Elements/yokai realm, and parry. Stuff like elemental attack or scaling damage that directly effect the weapons damage don't.

You can check by comparing your stats before and after equipping a piece.
