The worst part about Atlantiss is the fact that they don't (didn't, from what I've heard of the T11 repairs they're actually doing something now) fix anything. Cata is far from my favorite expansion but I didn't get to play it fully through on live, and wouldn't mind doing it private. But what the fuck is the point when the contents half broken, classes aren't working properly, and half the bugs on their tracker listed as 'fixed' weren't addressed at all, much less repaired.

It's a mediocre server but a functional one, and you can still have loads of fun raiding in it.

Right now T11 is in a surprisingly good state, they even fixed the platform issue on Nef. T12 is also decently scripted without seriously major bugs affecting it and we're yet to see how T12hc works.

You can reset and gear fast, yes. Doesn't mean you have too, we still have yet to reset a single raid as far as I remember. And we aren't nolifing several t10 geared alts for a perfect raid comp, so there is literally no difference whether the server is 20x, 14, 7, 1...

And clearing content on the final patch of an expansion isn't clearing it pre-nerf, sweetheart. They may have adjusted values to pre-nerf on bosses/with their mechanics. Which I am aware makes it harder than the flat out 3.3.5 version, but it still isn't pre-nerf. Doesn't imply it's easy, doesn't imply it's awful because of it, but it is what it is.

However i'm really interested in joining the guild as a Protection Paladin, I've been contemplating what I'm going to play but it's going between Prot Pally/Feral druid tank/Shadow priest most likely. Seeing as you could use another tank I really wouldn't mind playing one, my Paladin tanking experience is limited however, I only ever reached deep into T10 playing my Paladin alt @ Atlantiss Cata a year ago or so, mained a Feral druid though so know my stuff. Also generally a very experienced player which will catch onto new things rather quickly.

My overall Cata experience though reaches deep into Firelands & Dragon Soul, last time I played Cata was on Atlantiss, but I quit since they delayed the release of Firelands & Dragon Soul by a fucking year, and kept promising us that PTE project for so long, our guild slowly dying out so I decided to jump the ship as well.

Like mentioned, I mained a feral dudu and had quite a few alts, Shadow priest, Paladin (Ret/Prot) And a hunter. Cleared atleast Tier 10 & T11 on all of them. I've always been into minmaxing my characters, if I'm new to a class I could sit for hours reading different strategies, which stats scales the best and which talents are the best for which set up, how to efficiently gear up and come prepared for raids and what not, I enjoy it. I'm certain to always carry my weight, heck I'd prefer if I'd have to carry some slackers' weight as well. Been playing WoW for 10 years in total but so much history could be shared but ain't nobody got time for that. Just mentioned my latest Cata exp.
