If such easy methods of piracy were not open to me, then I would simply refuse to play said games. Different anon. I like RPGs, but I hate shooters. I have no investment in Andromeda, since everything that interests me about Mass Effect is still in the Milky Way. Nothing about Andromeda rubs me the right way, from the characters to their design, to the new aliens and the "exploration". Also, ME3 needed 6 months after release to be in a playable state, so I have no faith in Andromeda being in a nearly complete enough state on release to be a day 1 buy. Even as a pirateable option, it is so low on my priority list that I doubt I would even look it up for the next 5-6 months after release. If I'd ever play it, it would be due to an old and rapidly diminishing sense of commitment to the ME universe.

Not really that much to say. DAI has large open world-ish zones,looks a lot better than the busted ass old engine the ME games ran on, has a very simplistic base building aspect (you don't personally built it, you just progress story and your home base as such becomes a stronghold that you have some minor aesthetic control over) and ME style dialogue system that instead of the paragon/renegade dynamic gives you types of responses and you gain/lose characters approval depending on their personality type.

It's gameplay is utterly unlike ME so it's not relevant. DAI suffered from excessive "MMO missions in a singleplayer game" timesinks that they're also ditching/reducing

DA:I suffered from being fuck awful padded content. Lots of open zones with shitty collection quests; bring 7 wolf pelts, collect 9 mosaic pieces, collect 6 power rocks, etc. It also had really shitty respawn timers on enemies so you'd go fight one pod, move onto the next, and then get attacked by the pod you'd cleared previously as you were finishing up with the 2nd. It got really tedious just exploring around.

They said they learned from DA:I and the side quests would have a story to them / they'd avoid dumb mmo style collection quests. I don't know what the respawn timers are in the exploration zones for enemies. Hopefully they don't respawn until you leave for orbit or rest or something that makes it feel less like an MMO. At least the combat will be more fun than the Dragon Age shit.

DAI is open world done the worst way possible and contained to zones. the game basically plays like a single player mmo. from the gameplay to the quests. which makes the game very unreplayable.
