Its super slow compared to wow but the primals and 24 man raids are pretty fun, actual raids are meh, fun fights but a constant exercise of memory, its really cool looking but just repetitive as fuck.

Combat is absolute garbage but everything else is great, the mood, the story, the characters. XIV is great in everything that is not gameplay related.

The only time it was "exploited" was during T5 to avoid Divebombs, and even then most people thought it was an intended mechanic.

Just like YoshiP, though. If something doesn't work don't try to fix it, just get rid of it entirely until you have a hollow shell of a game.

Yes and no.
The relic will be entirely separate from the current one, but it's likely you'll be able to destroy the current relic to skip one easy step of the new one.
Honestly, it's not really worth rushing to get your relic just to skip a single step of the next relic quest, so only work towards it if you want the glamour and you have nothing else to do. The entire questline will likely be nerfed in 4.0.

I personally hope for DPS SAM but since RDM is cool I'll be fine with whatever else we get.
