Yea, the health of a lot of the regular mobs is fairly low. DPS only matters for enemies with high health pools, like the king mobs, or dragons.

For solo play, sword and shield is and will probably always be the best choice.

Who /singleplayer/ here? I was thinking it'd be best to unlock all crafting recipes at the get-go for a singleplayer run. The points you get are extremely limiting without a buddy to split the crafting duties with, and the balance issues are irrelevant to singleplayer, unless the pacing got totally fucked.

Pretty sure I can unlock everything through the admin menu, will check when I play tonight. Ideally I can do it without levelling up. Anybody know of some unforseen reason that this will fuck up my experience? It seems like higher tiers require exotic materials that I'll have to level to be able to safely access anyway. Maybe just giving myself an extra point or so every level would be better?
