Personally, I don't really like that startdate because its so blobby, but I suppose its the only option if you want to play for a millennium without converting to Vicky 2. However, if you are set on that, I have a few suggestions, depending on your goals and how big you initially want to start out.

In the poll, beast and gay content were both very low. Are they something you're thinking of including at this point, and if so are they going to be their own main modules? How easy/possible would it be to write events which specifically have more options enabled if there's another module enabled (so, say, an event with two options with the main module only, but with futa enabled it would gain another option)?

How the fuck will fantasy work? Are we talking elves and orcs as well as succubi, or is this going to be a succubi/incubi only kind of sexual fantasy thing? This is a really big one, because a lot of ideas I have can't really get articulated until I know what sort of content the fantasy module will include (if it's going in at all; it got pretty low votes in the poll as well).

Is it possible to make a futa marry a woman via event, or would relationships between futa and regular women need to be handled completely by event?

How feasible is it for women to birth things which aren't human and have them still appear as their children? This is more niche and I'm not quite sure yet how this would get used, but if monster breeding gets in in the fantasy submod showing the children (and using them later on, presumably) would probably be pretty important.

Aragon owns most of Iberia, much of North Africa, has colonial companies in West Africa, and New World colonial outposts. It effectively controls France and half the Low Countries, has almost total influence in Italy, and has a strong check on Austria's power to the north thanks to its control of Bohemia.

Such a state would never hold together in real life, but christ. That's a hell of a chapter of European history.

I'm in agreement, at least until the main modules are done. But so we're clear, gay content as in M/M is what's being excluded, and lesbian content is still acceptable in all modules, right? It was pretty highly voted.

Which is pretty important, and we should probably hash that out now, if for no other reason than that I'm thinking of scenarios to add and I need to know the extent of what I can fuck with.

Fantasy as in just dragons and whatnot doesn't seem to me to add very much in terms of potential content, whereas a broader fantasy outlook would open the potential for a lot of new material. But it would also require a shitload of work, particularly in how new races would interact with humans and what the fuck would happen if they got landed.

If you were down to do that work or some other lazy fucks around here promised to help it would open up a world of potential: new races, new religions, different socio-religious concepts of sex to really open up what's feasible to include, etc. But since the voting on it is so low and since it would be a fuckload of work, it might be a good idea to shelve a larger project like that for now and rename the planned module to something like "Supernatural" instead.

So Supernatural would be Incubi and Succubi, as well as special rituals available to Messalians and Ibadi, etc. In effect, the sexual Satan module, with a bit of corruptive flavor thrown in for those pure folks that get captured by Satan worshipers.

That's really all they need to do, that sounds good.

Why is the airforce and navy so underwhelming in hoi4?
The navy doesn't seem to do anything but prevent naval invasions and most of the time I end up just making convoys on loop.
The airforce is good but it's such a fucking hassle to move it to the next zone as your army blobs across the land. I literally only make fighters and CAS and I'd rather just be able to attach it to an army and have them air superiority and CAS in any areas the army fights in.

Playing my first game as Scotland and I've done really well so far and managed to get the British Isles and all the estuaries and top trade areas around the English Channel node.

Starting to branch out into the Americas, getting a mission to start on India (not done it yet though) and got Prussia, Austria and Sweden as allies.

The thing is, fucking Portugal, France and Spain are allied against me and there's no way I can beat them manpower wise. All game I've known that I'm going to have to fight them at some point so what I've done is just pick on weak as fuck countries to expand (Mali, Kongo, Native Americans) but it's coming up on 1600 now and it feels like I'm going to be picking on poo-in-loos, niggers and mohawks until the game finishes.

There should be a map mode that highlights the parts that are not overseas green and overseas as red. In your situation, if I had to guess, you'd be out of luck, with only African trade companies.
Imo, they are not worth it. I usually state trade company provinces, and give the important trade provinces to the merchant estate, which, compared to leaving it in trade companies at 75% autonomy, gives slightly more trade power.Also, the increased trade power and goods produced from trade compnaies is offset by the gain in taxes, production, manpower, and if you compare, say, Natal in a trade company to it in a state, you get, at 0 autonomy
better tax, better production, better manpower
and the difference in trade power with the trade company bonus at -37.5% trade power at 75% autonomy compared to no bonus but at 0 autonomy, it's too small to matter for none important provinces.
Trade companies should only be used if your have somehow reached your state limit and need some land to be territories, and if your desperately need another merchant for some reason.
