Play-in: Teams from WC region play against each other, then the two winners play against #1 NA and LMS in a bo5. The winners qualify to MSI groupstage, the 2 losers play each other in a Bo5 and the winner qualifies.

Worlds:
Group Stage: 16 teams including Top 3 KR, 2 NA, 2 EU, 2 CH, 2 LMS, 1 WC (highest ranking region of BR, CIS, JPN, LAN, LAS, OCE, SEA, and TUR at MSI), and 4 from Play-in.

Play-in: 3rd see from NA, EU, CN, LMS, while #1 BR, CIS, JPN, LAN, LAS, OCE, SEA, and TUR will fight each other, and top 4 teams will get into group-stage at Worlds.
