I know that when you play true kangs with baobaboon, you're supposed to make invoker and do your rat cancer plays.
But I try to not use zodiacs since they're t0 and will probably get hit once Jewnami stops being useless, so when I play kangs pure with baobaboon I think number 48 is kind of cool when I go 1st and making break sword would be a waste.
The token he summons can protect him from attacks or be tribute fodder for master peace by using Revival, and if he lives to the opponent's next next turn he can do it again.

Rescue Rabbit banish itself on activation, so BTS and Gorgonic Guardian effect is used in response to Resce Rabbit normal summon, which is in different chain than Rescue Rabbit effect.
And for testing purpose, I tried leaving Rabbit face-up, opponent summon Zerofyne and negate all face-up card, then try to use Rabbit on the next turn.
All these result in Rabbit gets negated on its effect resolution, even though it's already banished when the effect resolves.

what it means is that skill drain works the way you thought it would, since skill drain says on the field.
using forbidden chalice on rescue rabbit or abc or whatever, will cause it to whiff when it banishes or sends itself to grave, since even though chalice had to target something on the field, its effects are negated everywhere (what it says after the semicolon). but after the chain where it's sent to the grave is over, the game "forgets" that it was negated just like it forgets what cards in the grave were summoned from the extra deck for summoning elysion

BoM doesn't negate and ushioni doesn't need to be face-up to resolve. The one SS by norden activated its effect under negation so the effect is still negated when it's flipped by BoM. The same thing would happen under skill drain but if you chained a BoM to your opp veiling ushioni, it'd work since veiler has an invalid target.

I chained Offering/BoM/Transporter/Compulse/Phoenix Wind Blast on Ushioni activating its effect with its effect already negated with Chalice/Veiler/BTS on previous chain.
Out of these, only BoM somehow allowed Ushioni to resolve its effect without getting negated.

It doesn't work for Ushioni summoned via Norden though.

Unlike Siegfried which refer to "that target" on the resolution text, Abyss refer to "its" on the resolution text, so Abyss should still negate the card even if the card leaves the field before the effect resolution.
Though the question now changes to whether a negation can be applied to card in grave.

I'm thinking the million dollar question is that veiler says rabbit's effects are negated while face-up, and rabbit (or ushioni) are "face-up" while banished, in the graveyard, in the hand, and the top of the deck, but book of moon avoids that by making it definitely not face-up. norden negates the effect anywhere so book of moon can't get around it. after the chain in which rabbit or ushioni leaves the field is resolved, the game forgets that it was negated so you could d.d.r. it and try again, which is pretty normal and obvious.

and for the record, i'm confident that siegfried and abyss would both fail to negate dark hole if the dark hole is MSTed as chain link 3, since they target and they lost their target before resolution, regardless of saying "it" or "that target". and i'm confident that starlight road would continue to negate a dark hole that was MSTed (and in the grave) since it negates the effect with no mention of location, like norden.

Starlight negates effect it chained to, unlike Abyss and Siegfried which applies an effect negation on the card, so of course it'll negates it even though the Dark Hole resolves in grave.
And unlike Starlight, Norden applies an effect negation on the monster it summoned.

Also, I've tried using Lost Wind, which doesn't mention anything about face-up monster in its resolution text effect, on SS'd Ushioni, but it's still the same.
Only if I chain BoM to negated Ushioni effect that the effect will resolves. Other things like Recovery/Compulse/Transporter/Offering will make the effect negated.

And if that means ED monster is immune to all effect that return monster to hand, I can finally safely use pic related in Metal, or any pendulum.dek really.

I am facing the metas since the middle of last year with Odd-Eyes Magician and have only been altering the deck ever since.

There were a lot of decks that could fuck me over, but most didn't matter if I went first. This was the meta of 2016 and even with Zoodiacs arriving, the best board still wins. The difference is zoodiacs wreck this up, BUT they are vulnerable to mass destructions.

As xenophobic as DDD is, you may need to incorporate Kaijus or change your strategy a bit. Maybe put a Scarlight in the extra as well?
