You see, Gawain only used Numeral to deal with the nerfed Vasavi, he didn't even use Galatine beam to beat it, he outright just slashed the thing in half. Nerfed Vasavi is still stronger than all of Karna's NPs except the God Killer 1 time use Vasavi.

So, that fight implies Karna can beat Gawain IF he uses the 1 time use God Killer Vasavi, but he will lose both Vasavi and Kavacha in the process. We don't know if Galatine could mitigate the EX Vasavi enough to let him survive it though, so it's still up in the air.

Lancelot is a whole other problem for Karna as Overload activates thr beam from the cut, so if Lancelot cuts the EX Vasavi, the beam wont need to clash directly with it, as it will start from the middle, dispersing the rest of Vasavi to the sides.
