Most of the line is cancer since they all have glaring weakspots which you can't hide. Tortoise and AT15 to some extent too. They have that juicy cupola on the right side so you can only effectively fight around righthand corners. The armor works at great distances since enemies rarely have the precision to hit the weakspots, but then again, they can load gold and then it's entirely RNG if they hit flat surfaces or angled ones in your front armor. You'll also learn to despise arty and your teammates. If you get outflanked and you can't rub your ass against a wall, you're toast.

Its actually a pretty amazing tank. It can snipe if you want. Its also mobile enough to play as a medium. Its got enough depression to work ridges. With the improved gun handling, it may be able to get shots off before getting shot back. Last game I had in mine was on Siegfried Line, bottom tier, and I just decided to charge in to the city and go to work. Think I got 1300 xp from that game.

Buff the armor's effectiveness by redesigning the damage models and increase the gun's pen OR RoF. For the BP maybe consider giving it a 20lb gun or reducing the cost of 17lb APCR.

They're not terrible since I still play them and can do well. But it requires a lot more effort than playing the heavies of another nation.
The big successes come down to pure luck where you stumble upon an enemy's flank or rear.
But I feel a part of me die every time I hit battle in the Black Prince and see a bottom tier game. Or even a game with a lot of IS-3/6s.

Vents doesn't even come close to maxing out view range, ie the reason to take optics in the first place. So unless you want to either have unmaxed view range or spend every crew point trying to max it out just to get a dpm buff, get optics.

Rammer for -10% reload improvement
Vertical stabilizer for better on the move shooting
Vents for +5% crew skills.

Everything else is junk. With all that your view range comes out to 398m. With recon and situational awareness half trained view range comes out to 410. Optics are not necessary on this vehicle, at all. The T26E5 is NOT a scout.
