Why do so many people apparently care about tier lists and which units fall off and all this shit? Literally every unit that doesn't fall off now will fall off when they release new units that counter the meta, or release a straight up better version of a character; so people are incentivized to try and pay and draw them. If a unit is good now, it won't be forever.

Jagen suffers the same fate as any Jagen unit in a regular FE: his growth rates are shit. He just has impressive base stats, but he is quickly fucked over time.

Florina is the complete opposite: she starts weak, but in due time, she becomes very good, pretty much like in the original game.

The last thing to be unlocked, the icon below the arena, is live PvP. Everyone who got to play the game before launch has said so, it just hasn't been activated yet. Its also the only place where having good units will matter, you can beat the shitty AI teams with average units even when they have top tier units. But in live PvP those 5 charge skills are totally useless, especially on a character like Tiki who gets one shotted by 3 very good sword users. The best skills will charge in 2 hits, and some 3 charge ones.

They serve different purposes. Hawkeye is just a wall with high up front damage and can hit in aoes but Raven is some weird wombo combo damage dealer with Sol, Defiant Speed, and Threaten Def. He wants to drop below 50 then go ham and heal it off. He explodes to armor though.

All units have a set TOTAL stat points at level 40. No matter your RNG your character will only have a maximum +/- 1 of difference to that total.

Random variance between stats (ex. Atk is lower than most same at lv40 but Speed higher) is possible, but the characters total stats are always +/- 1 of the base total and the variance of any single stat is at most +/- 3.

So even in absolute worst scenario your Lucina will only have 3 attack less than what is the 'average' for Lucinas and 6 attack less than absolute best, but even then she will gain most of that in other stats (which could even be better, if it's speed for example)

best way is to just finish the tutorial, get 2 orbs from the mailbox and roll 4 characters. takes less than 2 minutes with a macro, as opposed to going through the prologue for one extra 3* roll.

I have Lyn, Roy and a 5* Tharja, and those are the only 5* I've gotten out of another 20 or so rolls thanks to story orbs.

There have always been two problems with fire emblem multiplayer

The first problem that came up was fucking cheaters with max stats in Shadow Dragon. The second problem, is the shitty skills. Skills ruin everything, especially when you can freestyle them like in Fates. If a skill is broken like Warp, it goes on every unit and creates a shitty experience.
To make the perfect multiplayer Fire Emblem? Use a point system where people choose a team of generics. Let people customize their army this way and don't let them use the dumb main characters that are all statboosted. If they did this the game would be more like Chess and less like shitty "who has the most power". The better thinkers would win.
