It works with it sort of. Real Shelter is a gimmick that replicates roofs blocking rainfall by temporarily switching the weather to Cloudy and dropping transparent rain layers around the player for the time spent under said roof. That's why every town mod ever needs a patch for it, because those sections need to be applied manually.

So if you have ENB rain active like this >>167606227 and you go under a roof, it'll shut off and display typical gray rain textures around you.

I personally didn't mind the nightingale stuff but yeah it wasn't super great. I feel like they were trying to mix back in the "Robin Hood" feeling of Oblivion's guild after previously establishing you were a bunch of robbing hoodlums and it ended up clashing pretty badly.

I did like the final fight with Mercer, ended up on top of the statue's shoulders and noticed the fall, switched to Unrelenting force and blasted him clean off it to his death.

Tracking him as he goes in and out of stealth was great since aura whisper wasn't up 100% of the time.

I loved all the ideas behind the Thieves' Guild. The characters were good, the plot with Mercer was good, and while there definitely should have been an alternate route, I really liked the Nightingale stuff.

The issue is that there's like 2 quests that actually suggest you be stealthy. The Markarth quest is good, except for the fact that you get "detected" at the end, no matter how stealthy you were. Goldenglow isn't bad, but if you go into the owner's room, you find him cowering in the corner. No matter what. Which kind of implies they expected you to fight your way through.

There are no heists of any kind. Going through a fucking monster-filled dungeon to grab a jewel is a not a heist. That's something adventurers do, not thieves. You're not fucking stealing it from anyone. It's ridiculous. The Thieves' Guild had so many good ideas, and executed on almost none of them well.

What's Skjoldr wearing?

You know, I actually like Skyrim, and the mods help almost all issues I have with it.

But my biggest gripe about the game is the abundance of gear, loot and overall wealth available. It's just too easy to go through one dungeon and come out with a haul worth well over 3000-5000 septims. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there's an overhaul mod that could restructure how the loot system works.

I wished they had a similar system to Fallout, where it's rare to come across large sums of money and items in good condition. It'd be nice to make use of your actual skills to craft weaponry, armor, clothing, potions or enchanted items instead of getting showered with them upon completing every quest or dungeon. Combine a mod like that with survival mods like Frostfall and combat mods like Wildcat and you'd actually have a challenging yet rewarding experience.

I love most of the perks but the whole pickpocketing and lockpicking tree kinda sucks.
You can't even disarm enemies with pickpocket anymore with it.
