I've opened about forty kegs and the best units I've gotten are Vrans and a single Manticore. Just oodles and oodles of Reaver Scouts, Arachas, and other shit like that.

Yeah, if I actually got any Skellige cards.

I have like three an Craite melee units, one Tordarrach Shieldmaker guy and a single Longship in addition to the basic Skellige deck. I don't have enough Priestesses or Discard/Res units to build a Skellige deck.

I literally cannot assemble anything even vaguely competitive aside from PFI. I don't have the cards for anything else but PFI is now getting rekt. I was only getting wins before the patch by rusing opponents in the first round as it was, now there's nothing I can do.

Every Keg I've opened has spat out shit after shit after shit. If all the RNG will give me is PFI, Northern buffing units, and mill fodder what the fuck else am I supposed to do? I can't just wave my hands and magic up a Scoia'tel Commando special/respawn deck or Skellige discard deck or whatever the fuck else, and I can't win games any more thanks to the PFI and Northern nefrs so I can't get more kegs to try for something better.

The viable deck I got was for PFI.

A shit ton of Vran Warrior, weather, Manticore and Fireball Trap cards, which is like 90% of the stuff other than Pomote, Thunderbolt, Swallow, Field Medic, Blue Stripe Scout, Reaver Scout, and Kaedweni Seige Support is all I've gotten.

I have like three Crinfried Reavers and two Blue Stripe Commandos other than that, so I can't even do a Blue Stripes buff or Reaver summon deck, much less a siege engine debuff deck.

I get how to build other decks. I just don't have the cards to do so, and can't win to get enough scraps or ore to make anything better. Thus, quit or spend real money, and hope the reset when it goes into general release is kinder with RNG.

Most SK cards that you really need are fortunately 200 scraps.
Restore, Sig, Draig, Donar, Birna, Blueboy, Yen:Conjurer, leaders, all 200.
Only 2 really important that cost 800 are Cerys for QG deck and Coral.
There's also Decoy but you get that for free at lv 20.

With under 3000 scrap you can craft a great SK deck. 3600 if you don't have decoy.

You can actually rig the RNG, for example you can use King of Beggars that will call the weakest card on your deck, You can rig the rng of future draws by discarding the deck. The most RNG the game has is rally with First Light that you can't choose the card that you will rally but if you hold on to it and remember what cards you have on your deck you can most of the times get what you want.

Wrong. Not only do you give a guaranteed 10 gold strength to your opponent, but you also have to wait 2 turns during which the opponent can either save his strength by Kayran/Letho/Promotion/Katakan or overbuff some other card so you get this one instead of the one you wanted. Not only that, but the amount of people that actually play gigantic units worth stealing are incredibly low. And even if you DO steal a decently big unit from your opponent, it can just get immediately igni'ed or scorched.
It's a slow card, it's a clunky card, it's as I've said already an incredibly niche card that's just not gonna work in a lot of cases.

It's not needed because of the passive.

The idea is that first you dump the filler/removal bait - Nithral and Riders, then Sara, and then Gold weather cards (Caranthir and Woodland Spirit), after that you play only golds and specials, making Sara the last unit played. If she gets removed put a Foglet in her stead,

It's important to win the first round. Then in the second one you either pass or throw some more gold and specials and then pass to get some card advantage.

The third round you just win by having weather and card advantage.

It works, at least on low ranks, I got from 1200 to 2300 MMR since yesterday playing only this deck with minor tweaks (changing some specials)

Just go to gwentdb.com and look for the current fotm shit. Your cards are rares (blue icon in the left corner) so it's doesn't really matter what you choose, but if you ask me I'd say take ekimmara and search for some beginner monster consume decks

first round normally goes foot soldiers > hunter > ves > promote foot soldiers so all three blue stripes commandoes appear

super solid opening, around 60 points, and yen has really good value because of all your units on the board. but again, definitely open to suggestions was thinking of swapping foltest for henselt just for the reliable promote and borkh protection but i haven't had a problem so far. also with this deck KoB is back to guaranteed priscilla which is huge.

I do like that they nerfed Commander's Horn. That was basically an insta-win card for a round and Dimitrium Bomb was basically the only card to counter it. I am currently doing a Radovid Control Deck and it is working like a charm. I have been 10-0 so far against all other decks, including Bran Queensguard and Monster Consume and even Monster weather deck.

I only lost one match up against another Radovid deck and draw one against another Radovid player. Shit has been working wonders. Since Yen will basically swipe the board and basically balance the board for Borhk to do its magic.

The only bad match up is monster consume that has the Keyran in the hand.
