I've played a decent amount of Terraria, but never reached endgame or built anything cool.
What are some interesting character "builds" to go for? Preferably something that works for most of the game, I don't care about minmaxing or anything.
Town/building ideas?

So whats everyone's opinions on the big kitchen sink mods, Thorium, Calamity, Spirit, ect.?

The only one I have experience with is Thorium and the others don't have any real appeal for me.

Seemed fun and added a lot of utility but the balance is off in a shitton of places (ataxia armor). The added biomes were interesting at least.

Except for space those are some themes I've ran.You may want to give yourself some starting equipment if you're completely restricting yourself from using things outside the theme.

Hey , I failed the Olds one army even like 3 times ( tier 1 ) before figuring that spicky balls , jester arrows and the lighthing aura staff were key

Now got to hardmode and holy shit , tier 2 is hard
I haven't even seen the Ogre because the two tipes of flying enemies just kill me or the crystal

any tips ? should I upgrade the Ballsta or Electric staff first , armor is out of the question for now

I should've farmed tier one more during early hardmode , 25 medals were not that hard to get
