The added range and sustain help out your weak early game and you become a monster late game. I used to go Spider Build, but the added range on Thing just feels so much better, not to mention it allows you to get Dead Rush.

Also just try Blood Ritual. It helps so much in laning phases and can easily give you health during long objective fights by just throwing your spiders into a wave of minions walking by. They are both good talents, but I like Blood Ritual more for the sustain. You won't see the results of Big Voodoo until late game and by then you are already a monster because Nazeebo scales hard in the late game.

It's not bullshit to blame teammates, the only thing you can do is be smart about your draft. If your teammates don't, then whatever, not your fault. That's all HL is, "good" drafting and talent choices. You can't control everyone sadly.

The "pros" get there through repetition. If you've seen any GM or Master streams, games are thrown and lost for as much dumb shit as lower leagues are. You have to grind through those retarded games to get to good ones, especially ones you win.
