But I would say once Reno rotates out and the pirates get nerfed, every non-aggro deck will run 2 copies of Dirty Rat which makes any minion based combo deck less effective.

So you're left with Freeze mage as the only combo deck that deals with Jades, however even Freeze Mage loses some cards that it needs to OTK while Druid and Shaman have nice heals making even a TTK hard.

Obviously it all depends on how fucking retarded Team 5 decides to be with the next expansion.

Has someone seriously autistic done any hard fact research on how to extract the best value trough playing an hour a day aside from dailies?

Because Arena is good for extracting value only if you consistently do very well or if you already play a lot and grind out the 100 daily gold. If you don't suck completely and your average is over 3, it averages along the lines of 25 extra gold of value per game. This could be easily surpassed by playing low ranked or casual with a very fast deck. Same for Ladder up to rank 5: you get gold trough wins, but you can't afford to just concede every bad match-up or bad opening hand, so not only is your win ratio a lot less due to better opponent quality, but the games also take longer. It's not at all sure that it's compensated by the golden mythical at the end of the month.

TL;DR: I think the best way to go is grind gold is with an aggro deck while conceding during bad openings and bad match-ups. Though on the validity of this assumption?

I started using HearthArena recently and I've done 7 runs (each run was with a different class). My win rate is about 58%

Look at these fucking "Against Class" stats tho. 25% of my arena games are against warlock and I lose nearly 80% of my games against them. Such bullshit, warlock is OP in arena.

It's the 7 mana boardclear 6/6 body. Along with Fellfire and Blastcrystal, Warlock has fantastic tools for comeback and board control. Priest is very good as well. in heroes they ptr a new hero, then it releases then 2 weeks after they patch it

part of that is to make a new a bit hero strong so people will want to get it before putting it line but it's not the case for all them

many also get 1 or 2 updates before that period depending on the problems, and both of this goes for making a strong hero weaker and for making a weak hero stronger

my point is that you cant just throw something in the game and expect it work out, you need to commit to trying things out and just changing it until eventually you land at a spot thats good
hearthstone does absolutely nothing like this

heroes is quite balanced because of this, even forgotten heroes receive overhauls to make them fit in the more modern powercreeped game again.

They have been so far. I actually tried really hard and can win against guys with 1-2 legendaries (generally a spell that instantly kills minions with 5+ damage and AOE work well). But there are some that have an entire, complete deck with synergy (same set or whatever). And they are rank 20 trash, they have obviously bought their shit.

Legendary cards are generally core cards of a deck that can't be replaced. Without them the deck doesn't work at all or is heavily gimped. Not having them is a huge disadvantage.

You would be right if we were talking 3-4 months ago, but ever since Midrange Shaman become the top deck, legendary cards where mandatory to have a good deck.

So, the whole "staying around rank 20 to play actual casual decks" (Burgle Rogue, Dragon Paladin, Secret Mage etc) is working pretty well for me.
I also don't need to worry about ranking up at the end of the season because I can just rank to 5 in wild with Egg Druid/Pirate Warrior/Aggro Shaman in a few days of grinding.

Wonder that they were thinking when they printed those cards. Probly they thought no one would put pirates on Shaman deck since shaman has no pirate support cards like warrior or rogue (just cheap weapons), and didn't test that.

Usually when I make new totally deck I test run it few times vs. solo mode Innkeeper. If it doesn't kill those crap deck by turn 7 that deck is bad and should be remade. Something like rogue with best hand can kill Innkeeper by turn 5.
But deck which with good draw kills opponent on turn 4, even after you apparently removed his first jade guy, is just game-breaking fast.

It looks horrible, it has most of the same problems as Hearthstone, the game mechanics blow, and I'm already invested in this game which seems the more likely of the two to last and retain large player numbers.

Spirit Claws is such a poorly designed card, holy shit. Why not give it to Mage, or a class that doesn't turn it into lolrng?

The target audience is much more niche (i.e. game is unlikely to reach comparable popularity) and the disparity in deck performance is worse, even according to Shadowverse players. The only difference is it's easier to get cards in Shadowverse so it's basically a game for poor people that have no time on their hands.

I dislike the generic anime art.
The GUI is a crime against humanity.
