Yup, I still play.
There's an event that gives out level 10 weapons but with level 150 stats. Continues until Feb 9 and started on Jan 19 so you missed a lot of them.

I wouldn't recommend the game unless you really enjoy the combat. It becomes repetitive and p2w. You can always grind for gold to buy item mall stuff but it'll take a while. Also inflation killed the game but getting money is so easy that it became irrelevant.

Extract VindictusSouls.rar in desired location.(edited)
Step 3:

Extract Latest Patch and replace the files in the Vindictus main folder.

Open rss.exe in the Vindictus main folder press ON and make sure you have the correct settings. (Vindi IP to 51.254.104.66)
Step 5:

Start Vindictus Souls with start.bat in the Vindictus main folder.
Step 6:

To create an account in game type desired login and password in the game.

If you want to be a minmaxer, just go shortest. There are a few attacks in the game that sometimes go over the head of shorter characters, and the attack speed bonus is significant enough. Character attack range is negligible since your attacks move you forwards.

Most characters I see are short.

Also a tip for anyone who tries this pserver. Once you get a decent amount of gold check out the shire cat's token exchange and convert some 100k tokens into storage expansions. The extra drop rates will rape your inventory otherwise. You can also grab dyes, vvip, pets, and other shit if you have gold to spare.
