No Nine, Arakune, or Carl in Top 8, and only 1 Izanami. It was a really good tournament, SKD even showed up at the last minute because of a donation thing the night before. I recommend going back and watching it because the character variety was pretty high, and it was pretty good overall. Bananaken had the most surprising showing.

What's a good way to learn this game? Do the tutorial/challenges first and then play against the AI?

Don't use the AI for anything except learning hitconfirming. It reads inputs and playing against it will just give you bad habits. The best way to learn is to do the challenges to get some basic combos off common starters, and then going online to play with people. You shouldn't only play online of course, so look up more optimized combos for your character afterwards and practice them in training room on the side. Even just an hour per day gets you really far.

She's not a hard character anyway so if you're interested in her then pick her up. She's common on netplay for a reason. At higher levels of play she struggles badly, but everything else she's good enough for.

I don't recommend her if you intend on being competitive though.

I think ASW literally doesn't know what to do with Bullet or how they want her to be played

every revision she gets some new good shit, but at the same time they take away a bunch of other good shit so she remains garbage
