Just a quick tip for anyone who gets the Legion of the Skull medal like I did this week.

The third requirement (20 kills in a match) does NOT have to be completed in Team Deathmatch. You only need to play 2 games of TD, then win one, and then you can go back to playing the real game and have a whole Conquest/Operation round to get 20 kills in, which is much easier.

man why would anyone choose the A7V over the landship. People actually ride with you in the landship because they get a decent gun and can do amazing dmaage. the squad support variant is super helpful too. The A7V is just like a much bigger, slower and shittier version of the light tank. The only benefit is it is a mobile team spawnpoint.

Landship gets its treads broken every other shot.

A7V has more crew slots, insta heal and smoke and YOU get to control the excellent main gun and not some randos who may or may not even crew them.

Landship never bounces shots, A7 occasionally does.

There is zero reason to pull a landship unless you want to shit things up with the mortar.

Sometimes you just have those games with what must be new players to the series because they just charge objectives with their blinkers on, scouts thinking that throwing a single frag grenade at me and then hiding in that crater way out in the open is a wise move, whole squads hiding around corners thinking because I can't seem them the splash doesn't reach.

Also Monte Grappa has to be the single shittiest map for Behemoths. Airship was dead inside of a minute of spawning. I got one lousy hit before my turret was blown off.

Yeah especially on Fao you have to move the Dreadnought for 3 of the 4 guns to hit anything (except boats that come to kill you).

Actually had a guy message me the first time I got driver on it telling me to move the damn boat so the rest of them could shoot something.

Oil of Empires is definitely not unwinnable as attackers. Just swept Suez and Sinai after losing one battalion at the end of Fao. I did a cheeky teamswitch just as we were about to win Suez so I got the Defenders' Armored Train the next map.

Somewhere around 35/50 on Order of the Bull now.

Best feel. Finished off my first behemoth in 71 levels the other day, so nice

Unlocked a skin for the Madsen MG, so I figured I'd try the gun out for the first time. Holy shit I love it. The magazine takes up about half the screen which is a bit distracting, but the gun makes up for it in it's damage output and it's just pure fun. As someone who finds the kick of the BAR to be a bit much to handle, I'm loving the Madsen. TRy it out if you play support and haven't already used it.

LMGs accuracy is fine, if not due for a bit of a buff. But the one thing LMGs do need across the board is higher suppression, that's their main job.

The automatico does need a nerf but the hellriegel is a fucking lv10 weapon, STOP NERFING LV 10 WEAPONS DICE

Scout weapons are fine, except for the pea shooter. That gun is impossible to fix. Also the martini's nerf was uncalled for, needs to be undone.

But one of my biggest grievances is in operations with tank campers. "HURR LETS LET VEHICLES BE ABLE TO CAMP OUTSIDE THE OPPOSING TEAM'S MAP BOUNDARY, MAKING THEM IMPOSSIBLE TO TAKE DOWN WHILE THEY SNIPE YOU WITH BIG SHELLS"

I got killed the other day using the slug shotgun. Some dude who was level 3 ran at me in the wide open from mid distance away, bayonet charging the whole time. I tried to hipfire to kill him with slug and got some absolutely ebin RNG on the accuracy, missed him every single time and he killed me. It was pretty funny but about 10 miinutes later I did the exact same thing to the same guy. I could've ADS but where is the fun in that.

I went full one man army the other day in the bunker with the gas tanks on Argonne Operations.

As much as I love the limpet charge, the crossbow is super fun to use with the crazy shots you can pull off.
Dunno whether I should use the HE or Frag more often though since vehicles are usually everywhere.

I haven't tried the HE Crossbow but I've been tempted to try it. I run the Limpet Charge with my AT Support kit but I haven't had much success with it. I feel like if I go with the HE Crossbow I may do a bit better.

With the HE and light AT grenades you can fuck up armored cars and light tanks, but can't do much more than harass A7V/landships because they don't do that much damage (like ~15)

The explosion radius is tiny so you're likely to see [enemy hit 49] more than get kills like the Frag crossbow would get.

I think (not sure) that you can still blow doors off bunkers with the HE like you would with a limpet
Just sucks that the resupply is so slow on both crossbows.

HE crossbow only does slightly more damage than frag against tanks and with the reload/resupply speed you will never do anything of real value to a tank using them. I would rather have anti infantry explosives. Trying to go AT with support or even medic just feels like a waste of their classes potential. why bother using the crappy rifle/crossbow HE, giving up other good gadgets like revive, frag crossbow or whatever when you could just have one assault on the squad who can do more AT damage than a medic/support put together.

I still haven't tried a 4 man scout team all with K rounds + 1 support. You can do 8 or so damage at pretty long range against heavy tanks. regular scout bullets do about 8 damage against planes I'm not sure about K rounds but probably double that. I feel like with coordination you could totally lock down the map of all vehicles.

Protip: for the third level you don't actually have to release the pigeon yourself, your team just has to do it successfully. At least that's the way it works for me.

I'm level 71 and thinking about trying out BF4 now that the hacking has gotten outrageous.

It's like every other sniper suddenly became Stodeh.

I can still have fun playing support and spamming explosives getting a respectable k:d but it's just too annoying on these wide open maps.

I could be a lot better if I just stuck to a trench bar and automatico etc but I like to try all the weapons. It's really sad how easy it is to tear ass with the smgs
