It'll never be good again. They went balls deep into the Discard/JO dragon meme when ramp dragon needed cards that uncapped your pp limit and cards that added cards to to your deck to stall the deck out. The problem is that you at most get a 3 turn advantage of 6pp in an entire game on a flawless curve as ramp which doesn't really matter because everyone has hard removal, board clear, and removal effects out the ass right into their own class special cards which are by and large far better than what dragon has. Not to mention this makes attack boost gimmick dragons like griffon/disaster/skull dragon useless because either you already won because they don't have cards to build a good deck and you win or you're eating removal and board clears

There's a very clear skill difference between A-AA+ players and B-. Sure, they play the same decks, but they don't play around your deck or don't even know how to pilot their own decks. I spectate from time to time a friend that is in C ranks, and I can safely say that if I could have those opponents when I play ranked, I'd win easy peasy.

Vial Erasmus, Demonic Simulacrum, Castle in the Sky, Athena, Noble Fairy, Kaguya, Arcane Enlightenment, Ancient Forest Dragon, Dragonbond Mage, Furiae, Chorus of Prayer. Those are all below meme Tier. There are other cards that could be worth vialing in there, but they can be played on some obscure meme decks, so I didn't mention them because you might want to play them in the future, since I don't know what decks you are exactly looking to build.
You are very close to making Control Blood, but the fact that you have no Queen Vampires makes me think you should wait a little more. You have a very good set up for multiple Control decks though.

I started out around a 10 days ago and I pulled 2 Amelias (those were not from the initial roll, but from the 20 match achievement gold that I spent on packs) and 2 Alberts, along with a lot of Sword golds and a Bahamut, so I decided to make Control Sword. It doesn't seem to be too bad to start with an expensive Control deck if you were lucky enough. It's a lot of fun to play.

Will they ever deal with the rampant powercreep? Feels like half the available cards are completely unplayable, not because they're unfit for the meta - but because they're straight up too weak.
