Not the real figures but if you consider:

Chance to roll Lyn 5: 0.5%
Chance to roll Marth 5: 0.5%
Chance to roll Marth 4: 1%

You have a higher chance to roll a Marth because the multiple rarities are counted as different entries in the pool, so even though the 5* chances are the time, you're still more likely to get any Marth and then be able to raise him up if he's not 4*. This is why Robin (Male) is so easy to roll, compared to everyone other on banner unit.

It's not banning. It's an emulator issue. FEH clearly does not work well with emulators. If you're going to play on one you better back it up to an account first so that you can restore it because otherwise you're just tempting fate.

3% divided by 8 units.

Although they might have an increased chance if they also are included in the non-focus batch too. It'd be a lower additional chance, as the number of available 5* pulls is pretty large, but the odds still increase as it's a non-zero number.

And yes, Marth has an increased chance since he can appear as a 4*, but there's more 4* versions of units in the game than there are of 3* and 5* combined.
It's a pretty pisspoor chance of getting a 4* Marth, even with the 34% base 4* rate.

Only 12 units in the entire game cannot be 4*, and those are the base 5*s.

For the sake of speeding up the rerolls, I forewent the extra orbs and just started rolling with the base 15 they give you. I was only interested in Lucina and never saw 4 red summons, let alone 3.

I understand that this wasn't your first batch of summons, but that doesn't mean you cannot reroll.
You obviously shouldn't, as you have two 5* bases, but someone who has zero 5* characters and has spent 60 orbs SHOULD reroll, even if that means they wasted a lot of time.

Fuck this game, I'm not rerolling to get good units.

I'm pretty sure the way the Arena works is that it only takes into account the value of your Chain score + the points you earned in the most recent battle.

I.E. If you win battle 1 and get 10 points + 1 point for 1 win chain; then win battle 2 and get 10 points + 5 points for a 2 battle chain your total score would be 15 as opposed to 25 (10 points from battle 1 + 10 points from battle 2 + 5 points chain)

So if this is true seems like the "correct" way to play the Arena is to do 6 beginner battles and 1 advanced battle.
