I don't use customizations, really. Nothing I've seen so far in the games has grabbed my attention.

The team up was a good idea, but the problem was that in certain combinations, it actively limited or outright erased options. Like Tails and Knuckles takes away Tails' flight. That was fucking dumb. But you need certain combinations that suck to get the chao, which you need to get special stages for the chaos emeralds so you can get the best ending. Why were all the Advance games so fucking shitty about getting the emeralds? If it wasn't for that they'd be MUCH better

This is a vector rather than a tablet drawing, so I am using the Pen tool to create and fill paths on a separate layer from the coloring. My reference was shitty so the line thickness is a little wobbly, but I tried to keep it consistent like the official ones.

No, it started out as this flat reference I frankenstein'd from other various Bump references. I then meticulously traced it using the Pen tool, filled all of the basic colors inside that tracing here >>167355026, then added the highlights here >>167355057. Now I'm adding some nice Adventure-esque shading and shadows before completing the piece.

Yeah take a look see if they have a deviantart chances are they'll have a tumblr then just send them a PM and see if they're open. Most people are open to random email inquiries a lot of people only take through deviantart, but if you know the name of the drawfag just google them and you'll usually find a gallery.

Usually what most people do is ask for what they want, the artist then does half the job shows you a thumbnail preview, then you send payment and they finish the job. But if you trust the artist you can pay first or if they trust you they'll do the work first and you guys can just communicate via whatever method. I've had nothing but good experiences so far with dev/tumblr and random emails so I might be biased but be cautious and remember all you're doing is talking to someone who would love to draw for you, and is (usually) going to do what they can to make things easy for both of you.

I always thought of myself as a bit of a classic/adventurefag but then I realised SA2 is a bit crap and heroes is fucking garbage, so I'm just a classic/SA1fag, so I guess I'm just a retrofag since they're all 1999 and earlier games.

Up until about 10 years old I'd beaten Sonic 1 and 2 on the Genesis several times (with sparse dabbling into 3 and Knuckles on the Sega Channel).

Lost all of our shit in storage. Got back in with Sonic Advance, and a buddy introduced me to SA2B. From then on I was a diehard Adventurefag, putting a LOT of stock into story and characters, though I also started to really dive into the classics with Mega Collection. Learning about rolling, and actually clearing 3K.

Somewhere between 06 and Unleashed I kind of 'outgrew' caring about story and characters, so to speak, and began to read/watch dissections of the gameplay of the classics and the 3D titles. It gradually became more and more difficult for me to come up with strong arguments defending the craftsmanship and gameplay quality of the 3D titles, and my appreciation for the craftsmanship and gameplay of the classics only increased.

I still enjoy raising Chao and doing multiplayer in SA2B is great with friends, Generations was fucking hype, and I'm cautiously optimistic for whatever Boost stuff Project 2017 will have, but beyond that I'm far and away a classicfag. It's the only aspect of the franchise I'm able to sincerely defend at this point. I'm still nostalgic as hell for everything between Adventure and 06, but that's besides the point.

Hey, SA2 is still fun despite its flaws. Also, I'm an Adventurefag who likes other gameplay style, too. Not every fags would think their gameplay is more better than others. I just find the Sonic/Shadow level Adventure gameplay more fun.
