There needs to be a better way to avoid toxic players.
Ever since they made it so you still get placed with players who you have blocked, I always end up with the same toxic players who throw games.

Bastion or Torb as secondary (preferably Bastion) I find to be of great assistance, because then you have an answer to the counters of Symmetra and likewise Sym counters Bastion's.

This creates the counter problem though, you can prefer a player and then wind up with them constantly so you can hunt someone down through using "Prefer this player" with no counter to rejecting them.

So, as Symettra, it's underwhelmingly easy to pick off two to three people (usually a 76 accompanied by a Zenyatta that only started playing for the skin, and a Lucio that doesn't know you can shield yourself from his airblasts)

No, I don't block them because they're bad or they're rude, I block them because they sit in spawn and shoot the wall because someone took soldier and they're soldier mains. I had one fucking hearty laugh.

Depending on the map I've only found three counters to a camping bastion.
If the map is open, Pharah from afar wittles you down.
But across every map, D.va just shuts you down, and Reinhardt's shield you can't blast through fast enough before he gets the flag.

You can destroy Mei's wall and interrupt her capping so she's not as much of a counter I find.

Bastion's definitely a one trick pony, but he shines in this CTF more than anything else, but like with everyone he has counters.

I think its mostly because it's not just trash talking anymore. Because of the rise of team-emphasised games you are forced to rely on strangers to cooperate with you, and if somebody gets tilted, trash talked or starts raging, they're more liable to end up playing worse, affecting their teams experience.

That doesn't really work, trolling is pretty specific to baiting people with shit, the troll himself isn't necessarily upset or angry--that being specifically what "salty" means.

Now "toxic" is a bit more vague but the general idea is that the toxic person's negative (i.e. poisonous) attitude is bringing the whole team or game down somehow. Everyone suffers when they're around.

Roll to instantly reload your gun. This can be used, oh, say, maybe after you fan the hammer.

The delay on High Noon is so that this skill isn't just an instagib. You'll hear a lock-on sound once you have a confirmed kill. 1 second = 100 health.

The more health an enemy has, the more time it'll take to lock-on.

Of course, DVa and Zarya can just eat up your instagib shots with their abilities.

If you stun them and you aren't confident in your ability to left click their head, just walk up to them and fan the hammer.
If you need to reload, do a barrel roll. It automatically reloads your gun.

Most effective DPS combo if you're fighting a tank would be something like

Fan the hammer > Roll > Flashbang > Fan the hammer

Exchange fan the hammer for regular shots if you so desire, you can always

Flashbang > Left click > Fan the hammer > Roll > Left click / Fan the hammer again

The delay on high noon is necessary. Do you seriously think if he could one shot every single hero instantaneously the game would be balanced?

His lock on does 200 damage per second, so most heroes can be instagibbed after 1 second but you'll have to channel for 3 seconds to lock onto a roadhog. The worst is when lucio ults and all your lock ons expand again and killing anyone is impossible.

Sneak up to people, your flashbang and rightclick combo at pointblank range is enough to kill any 200 health hero (with 6 bullets)

To kill a 250 health hero you need to flashbang, right click and then melee quickly, this can kill mei and reaper during the stun duration before they have a chance to to invulnerable.

You can throw your E above rein's sheild and the AOE will catch him and stun/drop his sheild for 1s. The roll is for unpredictability and higher fire power, use it to outplay a pharra or to charge at someone for an unexpected stun.

You seem really new so at your low level of play all you really need to be doing is stunning people and pressing right click for insta-gibs and shooting at far away enemies with your left click, pretty much everybody sans junkrats ult is worth holding on to for the right moment, so don't think just because its up you need to use it immedietly, when you see the opptunity, flank behind their team, try to get high ground and wait for the heat of battle to commence to catch them off-guard, if you use it out in the open when not much fighting is going on they'll just kill you before you can shoot.

If you've been team wiped you have literally 0 chance of respawning and catching the flag carrier.

If you have someone to deal with flankers (and you should, since there's a Roadhog in every game since hook buff), you shit damage balls on everyone non stop, either forcing attacking team to take cover or to try and rush for the point; both options leaving them in potentialy unfavorable engagement.
Trap is fun, mine gives instant way of escaping, ulti is shit but can get hilarious. Can shoot around corners / from safe rooms, if you're not too mentally challenged you quickly figure out how to aim the grenades.

So I was clearing up space on my 500 GB SSD because I want to download another game on Steam that I can play offline. I have garbage internet, so I'm constantly getting kicked halfway through Overwatch matches or trying to snipe people with 1400 ping, so I'm forced to play bots if I want to reliably finish matches quickly without pissing everyone off on my team. And then every other day it seems like I'm downloading 400+ MB updates just to change the flag spawn location, like whatever. At this point, I've only been playing Overwatch bots for the last 6 months to unlock stuff for my waifu. Now it's becoming stale since they don't update this mode. But I decided to do arcade one last time to mix things up, but it's impossible, not with my ping. I can't even win one match to get that CTF loot box. Get so pissed and finally decide maybe it's time to uninstall Overwatch.

But as I go through the hero gallery and equip all the empty slots emotes and sprays, I realize how comfy the game is. The game looks so gorgeous that I don't mind the shitty lag as long as I can keep playing bot matches and unlocking stuff.

Why so ded

So I generally criticize those who are playing shit (IE- a soldier that can't kill pharah) or make bad hero choices, but I never recommend people hero choices because I don't think it's right to tell people how to play the game, and as such, I never listen to people who tell me who to play.

What do you guys usually experience with regards to voicechat in the game? In europe on weekdays when no kids play I will probably hear some rare Hi, Good Game or position calls and maybe some french or german but not much beyond that. Oh and probably some finns that gargle and cough

I think it's mostly a console thing while regular chat seems to be the rule for PC.
