That just had kiki there for the hp totem and ball containment. Kiki has negligible offense totem (maybe +200 to active pass?).

Kiki is upfront lately to deal with all the alice/serestia pairs in Glalaxy. Players won't steal if their hp are too low. Kiki makes linmay and blatheon function as stealers once again.

I just forgot to put her back in the backline sometimes. Beatrice will OHKO with normal 3-man front even before this patch.

Treat it is a tactical combat JRPG and less of a soccer game.

You basically just build a team that can fight it's way to the front and kill their goalkeeper, almost like killing an enemy general in another game. THis will win the match.

Your usual combat stats are there (speed, attack, vitality) but just under some different names.

Overall a pretty easy game to get into, but after years of playing few people have a perfect team yet. There are always balance changes and tweaks that keep things fresh (in theory).

Rerolling for a legend before 30 is a luxury and not necessary, but you are off to an amazing start if you are fortunate or work hard enough to see it.

Most people just race to 30, and if the legend is bad they restart.

Be sure to ignore the guides though, they are very out of date. They tell you stuff like "level up slowly" and list some legends as reroll-tier (Khirel, baltheon and shu used to be in this category). Those same players are now very popular.

We really need a new guide.

This BT would have had 300% crit resistance were it not for me debuffing her with the dark starfish.

She healed to full after ever hit. Even a solid 1700 damage non-crit would be healed within moments between her own heal and Ailos. It was impossible to get solo shots due to their healspam and everyone reviving constantly.

How do you punish people for doing normal crystal draws?

Every patch there is at least one new player added, and whales all race to be the first to find one and hypermax it.

How would they know who to punish (bandwagoners who heard about exploitable legend rate) and people just doing normal draws? Not everyone was exploiting it.

The unique stone for everyone was a nice gesture, and the 1.5x crystal return is their appolgoy to the paying customers who thought they were getting exceptional value that night.

Until a month ago most baltheon owners benched him in favor of Elaine. He was always good, but Elaine was that much better. You don't even need to run assists on the frontline anymore thanks to Elaine (Well, until Presty came along, at least).

Higher max hp helps you get that differential.

Start the match with higher hp, and still have 780hp left after attacking once.

That same player on the other team using a TW instead will be at lower hp after attacking or stealing only once. They started lower, and one offensive move on their part was enough to fuck them up. They will take no further offensive actions for the rest of the match.

AI is very closely linked to hp and if you want to be aggressive you needed a deeper hp pool.

I've been grinding chains for D stones, and it's stuck.

Like, the chain isn't increasing even though I have both characters on the team together, and it won't even let me switch to a different chain. Exiting the game and re-entering doesn't fix anything.

If you really want to make it work Milky is better than Elaine assuming Vonchi doesn't die right away. If he is critting with that much extra crit damage he doesn't need the damage increase and he has great natural pen anyway. The amount of effort for reward isn't worth it compared to just sticking WoM on him.

Skins are a rare offer you won't likely get again, so if you need them they are top. IF you don't need them then they are a waste. 5+ box has higher chance of getting you something good than tickets considering there is only a 50% chance to draw a 5* on 10 tickets. Everything else is pretty useless. 500Gp if you have extra event draws just because. But normally 500 GP is pretty easy to get and even your 10 ticket draws will get you 200+GP (assuming you pull crap and you will )

Balance has mostly been good for people not named felix.

Every week they seem to be looking at 1-2 older characters and tweaking them, and at the same time are throttling back mistakes like serestia. We used to go 6 months between balance changes and I am happy seeing 2-3 characters tweaked per patch.

The only potential argument is that the worst offenders have not been hit yet, but the worst offenders are all ardor and they need to go slow. Angela nerf was a big first step and it won't be their last. We may yet live to see the day when Elaine and/or Yuri are dragged through the mud.
