It has the exact same damage model as the BAR but a much slower rate of fire. It's 30 round mag cannot compete with the Lewis Gun or MG15. The BAR will win a 1-on-1 engagement against the Benet-Mercie every time. The Lewis Gun and MG15 are much better for suppression and much better for ranged fire in bipod. It's also pointless to use it as a DMR is semi-auto mode because the medic class has much better DMRs

the bomber doesn't go into the aiming view with bombs automatically like the other planes, you have to hit up on the dpad to get to that view. or whatever button you use to aim/zoom in planes. it depends on your control scheme I think

You're right it did, I just never used them because the volumes of ammo everyone carried in 4 were much higher, especially with the squad perks to double it. To fully resupp someone could take 4-5+ ammo pouches so it was too time consuming to keep multiple people supplied. The amount of ammo people actually use in BF1 is much lower I find so it's very easy to keep multiple people going with pouches. There are only a few points on a few maps where ammo boxes are worth it and that's only if you are the only support there.

So what is the optimal way to fly as far as turning and manuvers go? i'm fidnign it really hard to judge since all the planes are so sluggish. Also the fighter with trench kit is by a wide margin the best one. To the point where bombers and attack planes are suicidal picks if the other team has a fighter in the air. The attack plane can sorta survive for a bit with a gunner but bombers are only ever good if you have total air superiority as well as the rest of the pilots actively blowing up the AA.

Always set it to aim for 2.8mb rather than 3. Also I usually reduce the resolution down to 800:-1 or whatever for 4chan because even 720p is overkill. Use the cli if you want to make better ones with more custom settings and it's easier to hit 2.99mb everytime. Not that it really matters I suppose.

when you do a loop de lopp as you fly straight twoard the ground if you throttle back a little bit it feels like you turn faster but I raelly don't know. I've had luck flying really close to the ground, then flying straight up and killing the throttle to stall, people will either fly straight past or lose their tail on you. Either that or they kill you in 2 seconds.

I think you have to throttle down to turn faster, then throttle up as soon as you're out of the turn. Everytime I've crashed I throttled up (instinctively, from other games), however the 2 times I throttled down I saved it.

manoeuvring plays a huge part in it as well, just like other BF games. I've always been pretty good at holding the right airspeed and doing tight turns, but there are actual dogfighting strategies and ways to fly beyond just pulling a tighter circle than the other person. people who can do that are unstoppable.

yeah choppers were easier to learn for sure but some people again were absolute beasts on those things too. I played a bf4 game with some dude flying the minibird and he went 101-1. I was repairisiting but it was totally unnecessary. he went the support class that let you resupply people when occupying a vehicle so I could spam frag rounds and LAWs. I've never seen anyone fly a chopper like that it was absolutely ridiculous. I'd even argue that choppers have a higher skill ceiling than jets. Good minibird pilots can shoot jets out of the sky like nothing and a well coordinated apache team is literally unkillable.
