So as far as i can tell you get 135 orbs from maps and then you get 1 from listed quests. after that you get the 10 free from the linked Nintendo account and the 2 for installing it. That means if you don't pay for anything and don't waste orbs you get 7 sets of 5 characters plus additional character with 3 orbs left over. So max is 36 free characters without spending any money and no additional content.

Literally none. You can go back to your US account after installing. I did this with Pokemon Go way back and no consequences. If you plan on rerolling, don't sign back into your US account, as you have to redownload each time you reroll on iOS. Sign back into your US account only after you get what you want.

Has anyone gotten anything below a three stat raise with a 5*'s level up?

I've gotten some two stat raises with my 4* and 3* units but, at a glance, 5*s can only get three stat raises or above during a level increase.

In addition to this since stamina regens at a rate of 1/5min and the stamina costs for maps increase every chapter or so. If i do some rough math the stamina waiting time is somewhere in the range of 200 hours. That by the way is if you optimize yer playing time vs waiting time. I'm not exactly thrilled with the idea of waiting and hour between lunatic maps and getting to play no more than 4-3 in a row with the 50 capped stamina. All in all it is exactly a mobile game.

Meaning that you NEED to get a 5* character on the roll, and out of all the characters, get one of those. They're the rarest, and in mobile games that means they have the most potential.

You are correct however there is a limit of about 1100 free and easy (relatively) coins to get without getting bothered into other annoying shit.
