This problem is exclusive to Siege because it's reaching niche player size while also having no server browser. Unlike virtually any era of CS where you can just play on one of a few servers that you know always has cool people, you don't have a choice on here.

And back then you had shit like Game Battles and tournaments nobody gave a fuck about, or STREAM THE FINALS TODAY without any of the build up fluff. Right now it always feels like Siege is in some pro league season or build up to it or some shit and it never goes away.

I've been plat for the last 3 seasons and I've barely touched ranked in red crow. The - for want of a better word - toxicity is leaking into casual too. I genuinely think some people are just shitty people.

I don't like to lose and I do everything I can to win, but I don't rub it in the face of my opponent, I don't try to take backhanded jabs at my team. If I'm talking to the team, I'm trying to help. I know myself sometimes I'll tell them to do XYS when really I should just give them the info and let them make the decision themselves. But I'm trying to get my team to be the best they can.

I never bought the Year 1 pass because Renown was useless back then. Even when they started adding cosmetics like weapon charms, it still was kind of not worth anything. Now that there is shit worth buying I find myself having less renown than I'd like.

It gets posted here all the time, like what if we swapped Attackers and Defenders for shits and giggles, all recruits, no hero limit (literally 5 valk's or pulses just kill me famalam), no prep phase (action phase starts immediately)

It would be a really easy way to give people a distraction or try out new shit, and it requires no effort on Ubisofts part... but, you know, they'll never do it.

For attack and Ash as my main I recommend
1.)finding out where objective is
2.) set drone in a room as far away as possible from objective (should be the safest room) you are going to breach this room when the round starts
3.)double check that room is empty quick
4.) if the room is empty shoot an ash breach and run in right behind it going off (the explosion will cover your footsteps) and find cover!
5.) wait for roamers you should still have at least 2:45 left on the clock sit still till at least 2:00
6.) seriously sit still DONT MOVE. I see people looking around and it makes noise and gives your position away
7.)The roamers will make their way towards you. Just get positioned to take them out as soon as they come into the room
This is my one of my favourite plays
A lot of defence is more level dependant on what to do and who to pick. But I use the same DONT MOVE till you absolutely have to tactic a lot lol.
If your roaming and going for the flank use gunfire to cover your footsteps. Best way to do this is wait until the enemy is set up around objective and bullets start flying.
If there is no noise don't move

It's the campfire spawn on chalet.
You can hit attacker heads through trees if you shoot out from bedroom as defender. No need to go outside.

Also, several other places, such as Back Alley on Kafe, you can spray attacker spawns within the second the round starts. There's really not much they can do even if they know you're coming.

C8 is good but has a horrendous recoil pattern, with no ability to add a foregrip due to the skeleton key.

CAMRS if like any other DMR but seeing as the recoil on the C8 is so bad you might as well use it since you still get shit recoil but better damage per shot. It also fires as fast as you can click.

C8 is very high DPS with insane recoil to bring it down a tier.

If you want to use an acog with it, i've found muzzle brake to be the only usable barrel, because the first shot recoil on that thing is fucking nuts. Just don't fire more than 15 shots in one go, and you'll still have to drag your mouse down a fair bit.

Otherwise you can use holo and whichever barrel you happen to prefer.

If you use the spooky key for shooting at people, you may or may not want to consider a laser sight, it massively tightens the spread. Completely up to you though, but I can tell you from personal experience that laser sight, key and flashbangs is a pretty fun time.

Playing casual with lowlvl against plat stack is extremely funny. I switched to ranked only because of that shitfest that happens right now, but thats was a really poor decision.

When I just started playing siege and got into ranked (something like lvl 60, I was too afraid of ranked games) and calibrated to silver, everything was different. We played against same-ranked guys (not a fucking plat stack and 1 diamond againt gold 1-2 team), had good communication and no one leaved team. We laughed at our fails and enjoyed victories, and I was happy most of the time. I knew I'm not good at some situations, but enemy made mistakes too.
After red crow, I calibrated to gold 4 and sticked to it until now. And there was only 1 really good and balanced match with good teammates and cooperation. In every fucking match someone leaved. In my team, in enemy team. Many "mom-i'm-serious-gaymer"-tier players with their rushes on 5v2 defense and making situation come to 2v2 and then blaming me for being bad in their opinion. It felt like all siege magic I loved just disappeared. No emotions, no childish happiness after victory, no voice cooperation, nothing.
