My favorite route is UBW and I've read it 3 times in the original and twice as Realta Nua. It's an 8/10 adaptation. The biggest problem was how they handled the events between Archer's "death" and Archer killing Gil (and the management of Shirou's monologues and Archer's chants too but that would be a pet peeve imo).

The stuff they added was great, too. I loved how they did Shirou's epiphany scene during the fight with EMIYA. The Epilogue was hands down the best written Nasu content in recent years.

To be fair, he never struck me as that good even on release. High ATK sure, but for 2 Quick cards he doesn't seem to put out too many stars, the Arts card is crap at generating NP. Hell, generating NP in particular is tough even with maxed Golden Rule unless he's getting hit. Can pierce and ATK up but has no way to draw the stars to him. NP is AoE and that alone is a big loss.
The NP leech conversion to 20 stars skill is pretty damn good though.

I don't know, maybe I'm not using him right.
