What is the fucking secret behind getting gud with Hanzo?

All memes aside I have seen Hanzos single handedly take out half a team with heat seeking scatter shots and miracle head shots.

For scatter shot I've been following the "aim at their feet" tip. While it does work 50% of the time, the other 50% is the damned thing exploding off everywhere in front of my target and maybe only nicking them with like 2-3 shots.

And how do people aim good with his LMB anyways? With Widow mains I can just chalk it up to "oh right, they are probably good at playing snipers in other games too". But when I see Hanzo getting kills left and right with nothing but head shots I can't even wrap my head around it. It's a projectile so there has to be some heavy predictions going on while yet at the same time trying to hit someone's head with it precisely.

The medal system was a mistake. Shit should only be accounted for when their actions actually made a difference. Kinda like the PotG system but a bit more widespread. Will it be perfect? No, but at least it will be better than the medal system.

I have a lot of problems with CTF, but one of the things I DO like is how it totally rearranges characters and they're position. Suddenly useless heroes like Genji and Sombra are the most important for capping, Symmetra is heavy defense, and Mei is usually on offense.

Honestly I realized the secret to kicking ass at this game is to be chill about it. You tend to fuck up all the time when you're angry or impatient. I always play one match then study a bit then play another match after I finish an assignment to keep me from getting into a lazy slump when playing.

I also remember I used to be CRAZY good at OW back when I smoked weed. It gets crazy immersive and you really try your best not to get hit or die.

Currently a Bastion paired with a good Reinhardt and Zarya is a God tier area denial move.

Increasing his spread and eliminating headshots kills his skill ceiling and will make him less worthwhile than Torbjorns turret.

Well the biggest reason bastion isn't picked is because on payload and CP maps, once a defender gets picked off you are at a disadvantage because you reinforce much slower. Bastion won't crush a push more than once (and you're more likely to just trade a single kill).

Even when you do crush a push if the enemy team is competent they will come right back with your hard counters (pharah, roadhog)

If he can survive after hiding in a corner and gaying an enemy or two you can see some niche usage on game modes like 2CP or payload.

Recon mode will always be useless, they should make him do little to no damage and allow him to take reduced damage or have increased move speed (which would allow him to be viable on attack)

In any case the main gameplay of overwatch revolves around controlling chokepoints, and currently bastion does not do that well at all. If they can make him help out and not be useless, you'll see him picked at higher levels.

Is it just me or can flankers not do their job because of Blizzards insistance on them having voice lines for nearly every action?
Reaper's teleport has a whirlwind sound, its redundant for him to also just blurt out "REAP-O-SITIONING"
or for Sombra to announce her decloak, alerting anyone with working ears that she's behind them so she cannot flank.
I think the reason S76 is so popular as a flanker is because his footsteps are the only thing that alerts people to his flanking. Imagine if every time he started he blurted out "SPEEDING UP" and every time he stopped he shouted "FEELING TIRED" and then his kneecaps exploded, making his presence known to everyone in a 10 mile radius.

He's going to be a lot more useful for slamming shields and barriers, which honestly is what his Sentry Mode should be for smashing defenses, then you switch to Recon Mode for precisely taking out people while moving around to keep them in sight. It shouldn't be a "la la la I sit here all game and pewpewpew" mode.

Regarding area denial, it will still serve as this since few people will go out into a torrential spray of bullets. And D. Va's still going to get ventilated even without headshots since she lost most of her armor and is a huge target.
