Steam version is patched. When TES3 came out there was no steam, and no gameFAQs to look up the console commands list of unfucking your shit. It's hilariously easy to break even the latest version without trying though. One is an RPG with an incredibly detailed hand-crafted world, NPCs that actually follow a schedule, fully voiced dialog, combat with an extremely high skill cap, de-leveled enemies with no respawning, and a solid leveling system which forces the player to make choices.

The other is an RPG with a largely copy-pasted world, NPCs that just stand there and do nothing, 99.9% unvoiced dialog, combat with an extremely low skill cap, leveled world where everything respawns and you have no real impact on the world, and one of the worst leveling systems in an RPG to date where the player never has to make any real choices, and can easily max out every stat and every skill in the game.


Morrowind is just babby's first "open world RPG" that millennials played on xbox back in the day, and go full nostalgiafag over it just like the previous generation did for FF7.

That will skew the results of the offline a-life combat, so you'd probably never see mutants engage a patrol and win anymore.

Ideally you just amp up the headshot bone damage for each mutant, and raise the body damage a bit, and you'll have mutants taking realistic damage. This seriously takes like ~2 minutes to knock out every single mutant in CoC with notepad++.

As for the ammo problem, the only ammo you will 100% never have to buy in STCoP is .45, 5.56 and 5.45. Thankfully, high-tier ammo isn't particularly expensive with some good faction discounts, so it isn't a shekel shoah to fill up on 7.62x51.

Yeah that sounds exactly the same as AO3. Basically my first priority is always get a decent upgraded, silenced rifle with a launcher in both 5.45 and 5.56. Then worry about more obscure ammo rifles later.

OWR is just vanilla weapons renewal, it's not compatible with anything because it's so unpopular. The only real options are AO and STCoP, both of them have their own problems and are basically like the Duty and Freedom conflict, you'll get shat on by the others for using one. For weapons, you're looking for condition_shot_dec in each weapon file. The lower the value, the lower the degradation per shot. For armor, you're looking for outfits.ltx (but also others if you have an outfit mod) and lower the numbers in the immunities section.

Theyve got very nice sounds and they've added back in sway when ADS, but bullets fly all over the place with some weapons instead of where your sights are pointing.

Zaton really is fucked in CoC. Packs of zombies keep spawning on top of NPCs and murdering them. Spartacus and company are dead, the mercs are dead, and Noah died a couple times before I could savescum him back to life to turn in a quest to him. Pseudogiants are everywhere and roving packs of monolith keep murdering anything else, though they don't seem to attack Skadovsk, else Beard and company would all be dead too.

SoC had pretty good NPC distribution, because most of the spawns were set in stone. The problem is that if you have "random" NPCs, and those NPCs wander around the maps, then a lot of the areas where you would expect them to be get thrown out the window.

The Outfit addon comes with modified trade configs for the traders that add the suits to the pool. Either you installed it correctly, in which case the suits are there, or you fucked up and overwrote the trade files.

Because if your goal is to "sprint forever" that's a factor of two things. Stamina regen, and stamina expenditure.

We can get Stamina regen high by fully upgrading a SEVA, which counters the regen penalty of wearing one and then some. From there, we need to reduce the player's percent equipment load to the point that your regen outpaces your expenditure.

Increasing your carry weight is the most efficient way to accomplish this, while also allowing you to carry more.

You could manually re-balance the artifacts and buff the stamina regen ones so that carry weight isn't the be-all end-all solution, but as it currently stands, that's what we're dealing with.

Some of the shit in xMod is cool, other shit is not: stamina regen being shit so sprinting is only for combat, the radiation system, spawns are a bit jacked though that could be my luck of the draw but you can't control then, artifact saving is a bit iffy and disabling it has problems, the AO merge frankly feels worse than base CoM weapons though his damage mod isn't bad. It's... OK. Base CoM with some of the addons plays better. Demeyne says he's going to rebuild on Weapongulash so I'm going to wait for that and 1.0d before trying and tweaking xMod again.

Several factions and locations already have a barkeep, or a medic. That is a good idea, I'm cutting out a lot of the sophisticated medical stuff from most of the traders and planning on giving it either to medics, or scientists.

I could also narrow the food inventory of traders, since if there is a faction barkeep, then a trader even selling food at all would be completely redundant.

The overall purpose of what I'm doing here is to give each trader a purpose, and their own sort of character in what they are supplied with.

I considered that, but I think it actually has a purpose in Azazel mode because it's money not lost when the player dies.

And since I couldn't trade 5000ru bills with any NPCs, I decided to give it to traders in order to turn them into bankers.

I really don't see why stalkers in the Zone wouldn't do the same, cash out their ru, stick it in a bag, and come back for it later when they need it.
