I've already noticed what I'm doing wrong halfway through the beta but I've never been able to overcome it.

I usually run out of stamina first, I think when I get a hit in I get tempted to keep hammering away and I lose track of it. I usually win the first and possibly 2nd rounds, most of my losses were comebacks. I'm really bad at blocking consecutive hits

When people know how the game works tier:

S Tier: Warden

A Tier: Warlord, Nobushi

B Tier: Kenshi, Conqueror

C Tier: Orochi, Peacekeeper, Beserker
C tier is easy, they simply dont have any tools to deal with defensive players who actually knows what is going on, no matter how much you feint into guardbreak/light/parries you aint gonna win with anything less than B vs very players.

B which either relies on wall combo (kenshi) or opponents being caught offguard or knows nothing about the matchup (conquorer)

Conqueror is easily the hardest to place tho, and Kenshi is easily the most balanced mid-tier in the game, anyone lower than Kenshi is worthless at high play, and anything higher is decent/good.

A Because big toolboxes, counters and either fast frame mix-ups or sheer amount of them. Nobushi still struggles to deal damage to great players tho.

S. Warden is easily the best character by far, and anyone who played against good wardens know why.

No real weakness, deadly charge comboes that can be mixed with breaks or zone, great feint play opportunities, and the thing that makes warden S instead of A above all: 2 super fast frame attacks, most famously warden zone attack as a mix-up surprise attack, cant catch even good players off-guard, especially when feinted, and when used like this super hard to parry at all.

When people know how the game works tier:

S Tier: Warden

A Tier: Warlord, Nobushi

B Tier: Kensei, Conqueror

C Tier: Orochi, Peacekeeper, Beserker, Raider

Reasons for tier placements:

C tier is easy, they simply dont have any tools to deal with defensive players who actually knows what is going on, no matter how much you feint into guardbreak/light/parries you aint gonna win with anything less than B vs very good players.

Raider might be B, but while he got fast overheads, it is too easy to rest your guard top and anticipate his feint plays which he is forced to.
Peacekeeper got 0 mixups, easily defended against, and like raider gotta rely on feint plays which can easily fail. Orochi is the exact same ,and his displacement while attacking aint fooling any good opponents that waits for the right attack. Berserker is simply bad, relies on opponents having slow reactions to deal with his feints and guard block combos.

B which either relies on wall combo (kenshi) or opponents being caught off guard or knows nothing about the match up (conqueror)

Conqueror is easily the hardest to place tho, and Kensei is easily the most balanced mid-tier in the game. Median of balance

A Because big toolboxes, counters and either fast frame mix-ups or sheer amount of them. Nobushi still struggles to deal damage to great players tho.

S. Warden is easily the best character by far, and anyone who played against good wardens know why.

No real weakness, deadly charge combos that can be mixed with breaks or zone(and make amazing 50/50's with cancel into break or continue the stun), great feint play opportunities, and the thing that makes warden S instead of A above all: 2 super fast frame attacks, most famously warden zone attack as a mix-up surprise attack, cant catch even good players off-guard, especially when feinted, and super hard to parry in a real game

It's incredibly frustrating when your character moves slow as fuck or even just doesn't respond when you fucking tell it to. There seems to be a big difference in responsiveness with multiplayer and against only bots. To me that says it's an issue with the p2p but I don't know.

Passive PKs have so much control over the fight it hurts. If you are too aggressive the risk of her parry/grab for 1/3 of your hp isn't worth it. If you're too slow then she plays with you the way she wants and its a slow death. What really gets me going is when those faggots know they are going to lose so they play tag long enough for me to want to kill myself.

Maybe add a slight stamina cost to dashes or reduce the range after multiple uses.

Ah, that's where you're going wrong. Only reason to throw out any attacks that aren't preceded by a shield bash is if you're trying to outrange nobushi with charged heavy or you're just reminding them that your attacks exist.
Shield bash has almost zero risk associated with it. The only thing that punishes it is if they throw a light attack at the same time, which is a risk for them because you can wait for them to do it and parry.

I think Kinsei should be a bit higher, but thats just me, since I enjoy using the unblockable combos against faggot peacekeepers who dont understand what kind of pain train I can be. Kinda sad Warden doesnt have as many combos, but thats ok.

Got a bug that forced my entire match to play like this day 1 of the closed beta. Nothing fixed except full restart of the game. Was neat to fight like it though.

Orochi Heavy attack after deflect gives you enough time to move, which is why most jsut do the light attack after deflect which is instant. It isnt automatic so he might have just forgotten to click too

No, Kensei is fine, but he does not have the frames or tools higher tier characters got. His unblockable combos are very easy to dodge , and his cancels are too easily reacted to if they do the unblockable into sweep. His wall play is excellent, but so is many others, and getting good people into walls can be tough too if they are aware. As you said, it worked vs peacekeepers who didnt understand the matchup, but someone who knows what kensei can and cannot do the match becomes something else.
