if you want a better example, count how many cleaves you get during omnislash on jug with two heroes clumped up. in the past, you'd cleave on every hit, now you dont. then again bfury jug died out a few patches back, but still.

if you want aoe damage, you're much better off buying a maelstrom, at least it upgrades into a useful item, as opposed to spending nearly 5k gold on something to just farm moderately faster.

It's a trapezoid, short side centered around the target you hit. It is far wider than everyone of you who still don't get it think. Patch notes literaly said "starting radius" and "ending radius" so you need to double it to get the actual width.
Basically it starts 300 units wide and expands to 560 units over the distance of 520 units.
I seriously hope this was clear enough for even the last retard left to finally understand.
