I got the GOTY Edition for 75% off. It wasn't worth the price I payed for it. You kill wave after wave of enemies, and it gets pretty idiotic fast. Even after buying the GOTY Edition, there is still DLC content I don't have. Overall, stay away from this one, even on a huge sale. It's not even worth a tiny investment.

Hell no.This is basically a pay-to-click game.

Every game which has DLC's for which YOU need to pay to access them deserve a negative review.

In my opinion, when you pay for a game you should get the full thing, updates, dlc's, etc.

Both game and the DLC's are certainly not worth the full price, needless to say how many DLC's there are.

Most of the DLC's, like weapon packs, give an advantage over other players who don't own them, that doesn't sound fair does it? So unless you bought this game on a large sale or a friend gave it to you, stay away from it.

Confusing and poorly designed UI, mediocre gun play, frustrating and poorly explained game mechanics and missions. As someone who never played payday before I found the game unplayable and frustrating with more rule than game. I don't not reccomebed even on sale. There are simply far better coop shooters out there

Toxic community and microtransactions for everything, not the best combo. Total garbage.

Best way to learn is to fuck around without caring until you're past V-100 or something.

Game is piss-easy and builds don't matter unless you're doing DW or OD.

Don't worry about it too much. If you're not confident about yourself, just stick to OVKs until you feel like you have the hang of things and know better. Worst way to learn a new game is to immediately try to optimise your build when you don't understand why somebody would build it that way, and when the game lets you freely modify your build at will.

Does anyone else crash when they try to defend the safe house? Did a clean install of Windows the other day and re-downloaded PAYDAY 2 without any mods that I was previously using.
