I spent 1c or 2 for Varylium and 10 or 15c for 5s6l 15lvls ago, but chest is sold long ago. Anything else is selfmade, and keeps solid selfcrafted level, which is pretty bad to kinda average level of all these items.

I dont know why, maybe I played too much of essence, but I only made 2 chars to level 30 in breach hc, and it was probably the league I was waiting for the most since I started playing during beta.
That and the fact that life builds have never been more prone to get randomly shat on where a decent CI char could just tank the hit, the retarded clear speed meta, have completely killed my will to grind.

I can totally see the game taking the same path as D3, especially if they keep pushing the SSF meme, no way they can keep up with the complaints of all types of players ( pc, consoles, ssf, trade ) and the game will be homogenized will all damage skills doing some aoe damage by default.

Waiting to see what they come up with for next league and 3.0 but not holding my breath

Am I the only one that is dissatisfied with skill variety? I don't really see much difference between ice nova and static strike/earthquake or between shrapnel shot and lightning tendrils. It's like spells were simply the best kind of skills (easily targetable, usually good aoe) so they made attack skills that matched them.

The optimal way to play is to just put your single skill you had to minmax your tree for into your best link, with resistance penetration support because every enemy has resist all instead of having resistance holes.

the whole aura part of them is just because once you have all the minion damage nodes and links/gem levels it's the only way to gain damage

yes i think they're fun. srs is pretty fast paced with vaal haste and offering constantly up. have not played spectres because i dont like skills where i feel like i dont have much input

survivability is really good, can be better depending on how you play it. necro aegis = more damage, whereas you can go hybrid, ci, blood magic.. whatever.

personally a huge fan of poison aw this league, shit just melts and i run along as fast as i can with like 50 weapons trailing

animate weapon has no problems with phoenix/minotaur (the only ones that can be poisoned) but i have not tried the other two. summoners are not gonna be able to melt the shit out of them that quickly (except for AW) so if you want a fast fun build i wouldnt play summoner.

for occultist, i would suggest investing in a phys poison wander. they're really strong with a lot of $ invested and can tank shaper blast with no flasks, do all guardians even without poison (point blank instead), et cetera

It's pretty hard to fit the resists in, and I'm definitely not ele weakness capped. I had to get a bunch of resists on jewels, but it's worth it considering it has 400k tooltip DPS/around 2 million real DPS. I could probably drop the abyssus and still have enough DPS.

If you don't want to play "caster" you can play HOWA like someone replied. You can go ST/BF that are both very strong for cost.
You could try essence drain which is pretty good still that's a caster.

I have 7.8k with abyssus, 9.5k with a 370 ES hubris. In either situation, anything that doesn't oneshot you just gets outleeched. For shaper/uber and some of the guardians the goal is to not get hit anyway.

How's the mobility? It seems like with that low of a pool you'd get shrekt every chimera smoke phase.
I don't think I'm gonna do shaper anymore though since it's just money loss even if it's fun. Probably just guardian map farming and selling the sets

Chimera smoke phase is a problem, yes. Minotaur is questionable as well, since even if you're paying attention his burrow move can be buggy and hit where it shouldn't.
Hydra/Phoenix are a joke for this build since all their shit is easily dodgeable.

860 ES regalia, 180 ES gloves, 110 ES tri-res crystal belt. Jewelry is pretty meh, rare ring/amulet plus voidheart.

Flask setup is pretty cheap apart from a dying sun I use for faster clear speed. Witchfire, silver, quicksilver, atziri, lion's roar is the flask setup for boss kills. Taste of hate is best for tooltip screenshots.

I have % ES crafted on the ring and flat phys on the amulet. The amulet isn't great to begin with, I'll probably switch it out when I find a better one for sale.
You can drop the voidheart and still easily have enough DPS to kill shaper and friends.

What do you think of this passive tree for Pyre Vortex? I tried to get as much ES and life regen as possible in order to feel beefier and get damage from the elementalist ascendancy. I'm not very sure about the Fire/Snow Walker and Snowforged pick ups. Could probably pick up Corruption instead or maybe skill effect duration.
