The Cygames translator loves butchering and changing names to make bad jokes or just because he can.

Popular characters like Vampy that repeat their real name literally every line have their real name used by everyone since its kind of hard to miss it when you're hearing it a million times and since people like fitting in, you'll see that outside communities use Vampy instead of the localized name too since that's the generally accepted name by the community. With the exception being people that use the localized name in an attempt to "funpost" and bait replies.

Unpopular characters that don't really bring up their name anywhere or weren't really known tend to get their localized name used more than their real name unless people make an effort to use the real name like Daria/Dorothy for example.

The person localizing this isn't consistent either. He most likely changes names on a whim and forgets what he changed them to, and because of that you have characters that end up with 3 different localized names like with the case of Narumea. She's Narmaya in her profile then the names Narumea, Narumeia and Narmea get used in other story modes.

Some of the changes aren't really bad and are actually localized names but some names get completely/necessarily changed like a character called Shirou to Nicholas just so the TL could make a "Mecha-nick" joke when referring to the character in the English text or a bunch of other characters that had their names changed to completely different so its best to treat most of these changes as a mistranslation like they are.

Shadowverse is a special case because they went the extra mile for the localization with the total story rewrite and English dub. Most of the current community knows Vampy from Granblue Fantasy where the only audio avaliable is Japanese audio so she has an existing fanbase and her original name became the accepted name.

Tell someone using the dub or the localized name outside of 4chan that the actual name is Vampy and I guarantee you they wont be using the localized name again because they want to be on the same wavelength as others and use the same terms as everyone.

Master players don't have a score like we do. They have something called "Master points" or MP. Which doesn't allow them to drop below master rank ever.

All the other ranks don't lose or win any score point when it resets, all that it does is allow you to get the monthly rewards again.
