I'm killing yellow rated mobs for AT MOST 200xp each. I've got 30,000xp until the next level.

Most of your EXP through the game comes from mob kills.

Say you're doing a quest to kill those mobs and it asks you to kill 20 of them or you have to get a drop and it takes 30 kills before it does.

That's 4000 / 6000 exp. The quest is probably not more than that.

Questing is better overall, but if you're in an overpopulated area a lot of quests stop being viable for doing while leveling. If it gets really bad, then the only real solution is to find some obscure location where mobs aren't being insta-tagged and grind there.
