there is a lot more (flat) armor than (flat) lethality. you literally out-lethality someone's armor if they try to build armor.

you use percent armor pen (like last whisper and black clever) to cut away a fraction of that armor. if you are a rightclicker then you also get crit because you can right click continuously for BIG CRITS.

I watch maybe a replay of 1 out of 150 games or so. Was D1 last season. But I'm at the moment a better player so I should be able to reach master this season maybe challenger.

I tried to coach some players, I would watch the replays, pinpoint times in the replay and point out mistakes. Then I would watch a replay 3 games later and I just saw the exact same mistakes of the things I explained to them (such as lane controll mistakes etc). I don't know if by watching replays you can really improve so much. The worst thing is that league doesn't have a dedicated replay client. So replays are often buggy due to it.

Lethality gives flat armor penetration. Which means on a target with 160 armor, it would be much less useful than a target with only 50 armor and 25 armor pen through lethality the enemy would have only 25 armor left. This means that the target goes from 33% reduction to only 20% reduction. But in the case of someone with 200 armor, which is 66.67% reduction, it would bring down the armor to 175. You get 64.6% armor reduction at 175. So the lethality is a lot less effective vs someone who is stacking armor.

I read once that very few games are unwinnable and that even if your team feeds there are things you could've done to carry 3 out of 4 times or so I try to see what I can improve on since bitching about my team won't fix anything. I'm not high enough level for ranked. I didn't want to play draft because I just want a relaxing game of blind pick. We lost the game cause Nami. I tried to compromise by going top lane and switching to damage items. We eventually lost because we did not have a proper top laner. We had no wave clear. Nami never followed Corki whenever he ventured into the jungle by himself so I pretty much had to be a top laner and a support. I had to follow Corki into jungle while Nami was with the other teammates or trying to clear minions at our base.

We were actually doing okay during laning phase and okay in teamfights, but Nami screwed it up by not picking a top laner after I called support.
